Hello!
I had Mozilla Firefox on my old Dell until I got Trend-Micro for a security system. They kept "butting-heads" so to speak, so I went back to regular Internet Explorer on my old computer.
Computer died after 4 yrs.... got a new one (an HP). Came with Trend-Micro security so I didn't bother downloading Mozilla. I've had no problems w/ Internet Explorer thus far (got the comp. in Feb).
Yesterday I got a pop-up from Trend-Micro saying there was a suspicious download, did I care to proceed. I didn't pay attention what it was exactly and just clicked "BLOCK"
Went back to my computer later on and can't get onto the internet via Internet Explorer. I DO have Safari downloaded from the Best Buy Geek Squad when I bought the computer so I'm using that to access the internet.
My biggest problem is this, most sites require the Adobe Shockwave/etc... and it prompts me to download it. I have it IN my computer for Internet Explorer, but Safari doesn't recognize it for some reason? If I try to download it again, it says I need to close the Safari browser which I can't do because that's how I accessed the site to begin with?
I'm just worried that I won't be able to fully access the SWA site for Tuesday AM to check in and get "A" boarding passes....
and I'd like to be able to access everything I could before when I was using Internet Explorer.
I tried calling Comcast (my ISP) but they were no help
( It's obviously not a connection problem since I can get on the internet w/ Safari.... I did run a "restore" settings to just before that pop-up would have occurred, but that didn't do the trick.
Any suggestions????? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!
