I just have a home computer and we recently switched over to Opitmum Online (a cable connection), but I can't set up the e-mail. I *think* it is through Outlook Express, but it is asking what kind of servers I have?   WHO KNOWS????? I'm ready to give up......

Well, what software are you actually trying to setup? Are you trying to setup your email software? If so, what package is it?

Normally you would get 'server' information from your cable company. Check all the things they gave you to see if they don't have some sort of sheet with all the information on it.

Ours gave out a document that said "If you have Outlook Express, this is how to set up email....If you have Lotus Notes, this is how to set up email" and so on. Look to see if you don't have that.

Also check your cable company's website. They should have a Help or FAQ section that can assist you. If not, then you may just have to call them to get the info.
