Computer people... couple of quick questions...

We have had our computer for 3 years... It has a pentium 3 processer, 19 GB, 256 memory... I know we need a better graphics card...

My question is, how do we upgrade it for more speed? DSL is not available to us at this time... Do we add more GB?

I am completely technology challenged...

What speed are you talking about? Are you talking about download speeds on the internet or just speed of computer in general?

Actually, the download speed on the internet is the one we have the least amount of patience for...

That is primarily a function of the type of and the actual ISP you have, Jan. Your other specs seem acceptable and should do fine, if you were able to get off of dialup. How about satellite? Any available by you?

I have AOL... I do have satellite... we use Directv... I wonder if they have something.... Thanks Dan! I would never have thought of that...

if directtv pulled out of isp biz then it has been really recent they were advertising it the other day here in ohio.
