If I wanna network 2 computers in my house together....is it hard? Could someone w/ average computer knowledge do it? I was trying to research this online and it doesn't seem really difficult. Seems like the XP wizard should do most of the work for me. Any insight?

not really hard at all. the only thing the wizard may not tell you, is if you are connecting them directly, without a hub, you need a crossover cable. they are available anywhere you buy computer cables.

This will be w/ a hub and a DSL modem. I have a picture of what the connection should look like-- well a sketch of what is connected to what...ect. :teeth:

what is the location of each computer? Can you run a wire to each, from the modem location?

At home our DSL modem goes to a wireless router in the upstairs office. A hardwire to the office desktop. Two laptops through wireless connection. at the day office we got a DSL modem/wireless router in one. The less parts you have the less setup there is.
