computer help please........

I know this isn't the tech board but there is so much traffic here, I hope someone can help.

Apparently, one of my boys visited a site to download movies or music or something and it gave a 3-day free trial. It has invaded my computer and keeps popping up saying I'm obligated to purchase blah, blah, blah, because I didn't cancel w/in the free trial period. How convenient that it didn't give me this popup during the free trial, lol. The only way I can shut it down is to hit control, alt, delete and then select that program and "end task". I went to my control panel and tried the add/delete function and it won't delete from there either. How do I rid my computer of this?

Try downloading and running these anti-spyware / adware programs.

Ad-Aware from lavasoftusa.com

Spybot search and destroy.


They may get rid of that unwanted program.

I had this exact problem a couple of months ago. The above mentioned spyware programs did the job!!!
