I was feeling a bit down last night – I’ve been ill recently and was feeling a bit fed up – so I decided to start to put together a bit of a plan of attractions/rides I’d like to see or go on when I’m there.

There are only 151 days to go and I wouldn’t want to leave it to the last moment :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

What do you think of this guys? I’m not certain in what order I’ll want to do them – generally I just wander as the fancy takes me but I’d like to make sure I take in some of the rides I haven’t so far managed to get on – Peter Pan’s Flight and Pinocchio, BTM, Small World and Star Tours to name a few.

Does anyone know if any of these rides will be closed during my visit – November 10th/11th? I’d really like to go on the Storybook Ride to be honest but I gather that is usually closed off peak which is a real shame but I’ve plenty of other things on my Must Do list to make up for it.

FANTASY LAND
Carousel de launcelot
Labyinth
Castle/dragon etc
Mad hatter’s teacups
Peter Pan’s flight
Pinocchio
Snow white
Small world

FRONTIER LAND
BTM
Crittur Corral
Riverboats
Pocahontas Indian village

DISCOVERY LAND
Honey I shrunk the Audience
Nautilus
Star Tours
Visionarium

ADVENTURELAND
Adventure Isle
Le Passage Enchante d’Aladdin
POC

Nik you can never be to early to start planning :)
Storybook is always closed at this time of year probably for safety reasons since the walkway moves while you step on/off of the boats.
Noticed Visionarium on your to do list. This is no longer there and is now Buzz :)

looks like you have plenty of stuff to do..Peter Pans flight is excellent. :)

Nikki - the scheduled closures list only goes up to the end of October at the moment, but hopefully it will be updated soon.

Have you thought about what you want to do in the Studios?

A great ride to look forward to!! :thumbsup2

Hope you are feeling better now. :goodvibes

I agree, it is NEVER too early to start planning!!! Sorry you have not been feeling well Nikki. I can't get the smilies to work but am sending you lots of {{{hugs}}}

You must try and do Peter Pan at least once - and try and do BTM in the daytime and in the evening, it's a completely different experience in the dark! I love IASW, I think that's a ride you either love or you hate! LOL
I never tire of Star Tours either, one of my fave bits is the little safety film at the beginning - I won't give away any clues but look at your fellow passengers on it! LOL

Nik, If you are going to the Studios, I recommend seeing the car stunt show "Moteurs . . . Action" if it is open.

I saw the stunt show last time I was at DLP. Thought it was fabulous but I don't think I'll be doing it this time. My main problem with it was that everyone started queuing so early - I found that was a problem with with Cinemagique and Animagique too incidentally - and although I fully understand the need for multi lingual presentation it did get on my nerves a bit. That being said, the stunts themselves were worth waiting for!

I decided this time to have a look at some of the stuff I didn't see on my last two visits.

In the studios I'm definitely doing the Tram Tour again. I really enjoyed that and hopefully this time the dragon will oblige by throwing us a bit of a flame. I think he must have been feeling a bit bilious last time because he didn't bother to show up! :confused3

I'd read somewhere that Visionarium had been replaced. I'll definitely have to have a look at the Buzz Lightyear thingy though

I would definitely suggest the Indiana Jones roller coaster--it was awesome! And Phantom Manor was very cool--you can understand the storyline behind the attraction a bit better than you would at WDW.

I went on the Indiana jones ride my first trip out and regretted it. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and so have to avoid the rides that turn you upside down I now realise.  It's a shame coz it was an exciting ride but if I'm to be fit to enjoy the rest of the day I do have to avoid the 'heavy duty' roller coasters'
