Can anyone recommend compression socks for people with larger calves?

I purchased a pair of Zensah socks because I heard so many great things about them, but they barely came up to mid-calf, looked ridiculously stretched out, but I ran in them anyhow. By the end of the run it looked like I was wearing 1980's tube socks because they were stretched out and had sagged to my ankles.

I have 16.5"/17" calves and like 6.5" ankles-- do I have to start buying in Mens' sizes? Or will different brands offer different fits?

Try CW-X. I've never had a problem with how they fit, so maybe they'll work for you too.

I like the pair of CEP compression socks I bought from Amazon (they were cheaper there). CEP has sizes in accordance with the circumference of your calf. You should have no problem with having them cover your calves. They have stayed up every time I've worn them during my workouts.
