I too wear shorts over my compression shorts - I don't think the world needs to see my jiggle! and have found mens shorts to be the best for someone that doesn't want the leggs of my shorts crawling up. I have some nylon shorts (they dry quicker on my long runs) .
MinnieLor Cotton alone won't be a good wicking material if you are running/walking (working up any kind of sweat). Are they blended with anyhting?/reference wicking properties?
I know what you mean about the "short shorts" though. I wear Nike baggy running shorts (although they still only have a 4" inseam), but also found another pair of Nike shorts (no liner) that are longer.
Hope yours work out.

I looked and looked AND looked for something...anything that would be long enough without looking dumpy that was "dry-fit" or "wicking" and came up short.

I was worried about these even though they fit perfect. Then I realized I don't sweat profusely on my bottom half. Last year I trained in the upper 80* heat for several hours and didn't sweat that much in that area.
I WOULD like to find some moisture wicking undies if anyone has suggestions for that. Then I think all will be good. I got great bra's, shirts, socks that are all moisture wicking.
