Heading to WDW for my fist solo trip (business related) but was curious about TS restaurants that had bars, as I hate to eat at a table by myself. After searching the forum for some time, I found this is a question that keeps coming up every few months. I hope to come up with a comprehensive list, which I will edit over time if this becomes a sticky! All of these have meals available, either from the attached or adjacent restaurant.

Most resort and DTD restaurants have bars in them. Most take walk-ins, but I assume some do not. Please comment of additional restaurants if missing or if you know that one requires ADR's. Let's not make this a "what's the best bar thread", as that is quite subjective!

I don't think Chefs de France has any bar seating, although I wish they did. There's a beautiful bar that isn't utilized.

I believe you'd need an ADR for the bar at Flying Fish.

Sanaa at Kidani Village can be added to your list.

Thought there was a counter but may be mistaken

Thanks!

Mizners in the Grand Floridian has appetizers/desserts from Citricos.

At the Poly, the "sushi" bar is technically part of Kona, serves the full menu, but is open seating, or was last time I checked.

In EPCOT resorts, Big River Brewery serves the full menu at their bar.

In DTD, Rain Forest Cafe, Portabello, House of Blues (inside bar not outside), Planet Hollywood and Splitsville all belong on the list. Capt. Jacks has a bar but I believe it requires ADRs, at least during busy periods.

ETA--does Rix (in Coronado) offer food?

Ok...before the game last night.I was sitting at this sports bar.( no really).Any ways Disney came up in conversation. And a young lady was saying that in DTD.There was a bowling alley opening????

"Bowling alley" is Splitsville, mentioned above. More a bar/restaurant that happens to offer bowling than a "bowling alley" in the traditional sense. Groups of 4 to 8 lanes are set up in the corners, but the bars and dining areas are the central focus.

I love Raglan Road in Downtown Disney!! Not only can you eat at the bar but it comes with great entertainment incuding the band and dancers every night..My last visit we went there numerous nights..Great place toenjoy a drink and entertainment!!

Great idea. Looking for a dinner place tomorrow at DTD. Will check it out.

PO-Riverside
Boatwrights has lounge
River Roost Lounge
The lounge has appertizers available.

Posted on another thread that I'm back and had a great time at Jiko's. Great solo place, may want to make a reservation then ask to sit at the "Cooking Place" counter.

My original intent of the thread was posting bars that you could have a TS meal. I think I will update and include codes for bars that have full meals vs. aps only.

Only 5 chairs at Yak and Yeti, and they were taken for lunch, so I wouldn't bank on a table there at the last minute...

I also took Chef de France off the list as I agree you can't sit at the bar for food.

I think you can eat at the bar in Fultons DTD.
