Complicated boarding group situation question

Hi! I read these forums often to get answers to my trip planning questions but this is one situation I haven't seen yet, forgive me if it is already answered somewhere! :) My family and I have tickets for the 19th, 20th, and 21st of this month. Our park reservations are for Disneyland on the 19th and the 21st and DCA on the 20th. I have read all about getting boarding groups for Rise of the Resistance and Web Slingers so I think I understand how that whole process works. On the 20th, our DCA day, my daughter is having a few friends that live locally meet us at the parks and they would like to try and get in our Web Slinger boarding group should we be successful. At first I was thinking oh, no problem, I'll just add them to our party by scanning their QR code and adding their tickets to my account on the app. But then I got to thinking, is this going to cause a problem with trying to get boarding groups on the 19th or the 21st, when they are not with us? Is it going to slow me down because I have to un-check their names or will the system see that they don't have a park reservation for that day and automatically de-select them? I don't want to add them to our party and have it mess up my opportunities for the other days we are there. I was thinking I'd just add them to my party only for that day they will be with us, but I don't see a way to delete passes from my party on the app. I hope this makes sense! :)

If they only have one day tickets / reservations then you should not have to un select them from your group on the days they are not going.

One random idea if you were concerned about it - you could create a second account. Scan your tickets and their tickets into that account, and use it just for that one day. Then, go back to using your normal account for the other days. (People who have tickets for multiple visits have been doing so that they can just load the tickets for that one visit without worrying about the others.)

While it *should* only ask about tickets that have reservations, I ended up in several situations where it asked me about a ticket that didn't have a reservation on that current day, and I had to manually select/unselect.

I would go with brightlined's idea about using a second dummy account.
