I LOVE those bugs!

I've worked out I've got until next Friday to finish these to be sure of meeting the 1 August deadline and still no sign of my CTMH supplies

I can do playground and beach with what I have, so I'll do those (the elements might be different from originally envisaged though), but I have a Q about "zoo".

I can't do my original plans without my supplies, and don't have time for any other supplies to get to me: I can do sort of leafy/jungly stuff in shades of green and brown (they'll be neat, clean and usable, can't guarantee inspired ), I can wait a few more days, or i can ask for an angel for this group. What would you all prefer?

Make what you can. Do the other two first. If your supplies don't come by the time those are done, do the leafy/jungly theme stuff. It's all good.

My stuff was waiting when I got home I'm glad I waited so patiently Now all i have to do is find my sketches so the elements still might change a bit but everything will have its proper colours and frillies

I've cut zoo and nearly finished beach. I aim to get finished up this weekend (or Monday night latest) and mail Thursday unless I can get DH to mail for me (but then he'll know the cost )

It would have been.

I have little stickies that I labeled with everyone's screen name and then ones with the group names. So I can just put them down on my pink mat with the elements and later when I upload them I don't have to try to remember who made what. It's in the photo.

i got a ? on something??????
(now there's a big surprise, right???!!!)

i'm working on baseball one and i have the sizzix bat,glove and ball die. so the ball looks plain just all white and that, i really want to use some red but i can not draw on it right? not even the tiny red lines?? is this true??

and back to my frame ? from a while ago.... if i use my sizzix frame how do i offset them so they are double matted???
can i make 2 frames with brads not double matted and make a cuttlebug allstar smaller frame to make up for it???
i am way overthinking this swap stuff tonight. it's making me dizzy!!!!

NO, that is not true. You are allowed to draw, color or stamp. You just aren't allowed to use hand WRITING on Toppers and stuff like that.

Take the top mat and line it up just a bit to left and up from the bottom mat. This means the bottom mat will peak through the bottom and the right on the outside and the top and left on the left side. It makes it a REAL shadow, not a full outline like the shadowed letters. The letters to me always seemed to be double matted, not shadowed. But I guess it is too hard to write double matted on all things that sell them that way.

You can draw red stitching on the ball, stitching on the mit and you can draw in lines for the wood on the bat if you wish. Or make it silver and put red on the handle to make it aluminum.

I had a really hard time with embellished two ways, some things weren't because it didn't make sense to -- like the Fossils topper. I was thinking that the large tag +box as the 2nd element makes up for it? Also, it didn't show up very well, but there are 3 layers on the pool box.

I am working on my bugs and I wanted you to look at it and tell me if it is ok before I start the rest.

I used magic mesh on the bugs, but I had just enough for that. The backyard is a little shorter than 12 inches. The squares are pop dotted with the bugs. I wasn't sure if I should back everything in black.
Any suggestions would be appriciated.

Thanks Susie! Where do I find the time? I only sleep about 4 - 6 hrs per night, I am a terrible housekeeper so there is a lot of saved time right there, I don't work outside the home, and DH is away for 4 days, home 4 days etc -- I get a lot done at night when he is away, and a lot done during the day when he is home!


You are in all of the groups except the 2 pool groups and Wild Thing group I think. Can't wait to see yours!
