Hi! Just joined the party and I knew things were too good for awhile!
I am terrified of sketches

Michelle, please, please, please tell me what you would like to have and I will make it as close to the sketch as I possibly can.
Ive been focusing on the lake and NYC for you except for last week where I did a bit of Disney.

Don't be scared! Sketches are your friend I just looked at my stuff. I have a few photos from my recent trip of all three kids in a huge bubble bath in our large jet tub at the resort. I also have a lot of pictures of the water park Typhoon Lagoon. Those are a few more ideas?

Ok I think Ive got this and my DD is going to help me. She is such a great sounding board for me and she wants to be an interior designer.I call her my mini Martha.
I have a couple of questions.
Staying true to Rachal's sketch which is going to help me!, what are the dimensions on the mats? Can we make them larger or do they need to stay 2.5x2? What about the circles? Just what works best?
Does there need to be 2 titles? Or is that just 2 options of where to place?
There looks to be 2 journaling spots, are there?
Embellies? Again, what looks best?
Do we double mat the photo spots?

Michelle, would you like attached or not attached? I was thinking attached but whatever you would like will be fine.

I also use my DD as a sounding board when working on swaps!

I had Rachal check out mine before I adhere everything. Here is what I did:

I changed to 2.5x 2 mats to work better with my total layout. As long as there are three you can make them any size that works for your layout. If you are doing the full page layouts you do not need to double mat. Not sure if making a kit.

Circles I used: 5.75, 3.75, 3.5-these are rough sizes.

One title is all that is required.

Embellies should be themed to your layout. So if you are doing a birthday layout, you would use birthday themed embellies.

I wish I could share a pic, visuals usually help me. Hope this helps.

About embellies.... would a cricut piecing of something be considered an embellie? And for a title, can you use a title from a cart or from clipart?
Im in another swap that I signed up to do sketches in also because I want to try something new.

If you want to increase the size on any of the mats that is fine with me as I have never been able to use any of the completed pages with tiny mats like this- I just never have photos that will work with them. I have about 4-5 sitting in my stack. If you have already done them that is fine too.

No worries...I actually had a baby shower Sunday that I had forgotten all about. So, I was away a good part of the day and Saturday night we took DS and some friends out for a surprise 16th b-day dinner. So, I didn't get it done. I am planning to complete it tomorrow. Won't take me long. So, I will go ahead and do the theme I was planning on. (It is from your list.) And, I can adjust your mat sizes to what you had previously requested if that would be more useful to you. Thanks for getting back to me and hope your internet stays up now!

Rita, You get home on the 24th right? I just want to make sure and mail my package so it arrives around the time you are getting home so it doesn't get lost sitting at the PO.

Rachal and Kristi--just wanted to let you know that the doctor gave me a choice of bed rest or hospitilization. I chose bed rest I've had 3 back-to-back rounds of diverticulitis in the past month so the doctor is running blood tests and I need to get another MRI I'm hoping the test results will show what the problem really is and how to proceed. Anyway, there will be no scrapping for me this week as I'm not allowed to sit at my scrapping table. As far as I know at this time, I should still be postal by 6/22.
