Angela here and from the Lone Star State. I have wanted to go to WDW for as long as I can remember. NEVER BEEN!!! Finally, broke down the hubster and we are planning our first WDW adventure for May 2012. I have a 5yr old son that loves Mickey (I wonder how much I have secretly pushed him into that love now that I think about it... LOL). We will be keeping the adventure a secret to our son as it will be the first adventure on a plane. Want him to enjoy every little aspect from the packing to flying to theme park!

Anyway, I'm rambling as I'm excited and I will probably cry like a baby when the day finally arrives for me to book that week long adventure.

yay!! I can honestly say that I was overwhelmed at the thought of trying to plan a WDW vacation. More so than any other vacation. I don't know why, I just want it to go as smoothly as possible. I'm positive that everything will fall into place at the right time!

It is a perfect age, he loved meeting the characters. My favorite moment was at CRT when he told Jasmine that he saw her on his tv and asked "did you see me?" She played along beautifully and said that she had seen him and was glad to finally meet him. All I can say is plan, plan, plan and read everything you can before you go. We got into a stroller swap on this board and had a wonderful double jogging stroller for him to relax in when the going got tough and it carried all our junk as well - all for free!

I was just thinking about us having to get a stroller while in the parks, but was thinking that if we have the park hopper passes we'll just leave and go back to the room for a little nap and then head back out for the evening. We plan on being very leisurely and not worried too much about time. Relaxing and enjoying the amazement on my sons face.

Little does my hubby know...I've got him talked into this one vacation....BUT I will definately plan on going again with my immediate family (mom, dad, sister, brother and nieces and nephews)...he just doesn't know it yet....lol
