Complete list of rides/attractions for both parks?

While planning for our eventual trip, the wife mentioned that if there are not enough attractions that would entertain a 4-year old, or if there are too many that he would not be permitted to ride, that it may be better to skip these parks altogether.

Since I'm a selfish jerk who wants to check out all the rides at IOA (having never been), I have been trying to find a list of everything currently available at both parks. The Universal site shows some attractions at a very high level, but does not give a good idea of what entertainment a pre-k kid may find.

Can anyone point me to a list?

Thanks

did you choose "complete list" on the universal website? also, there is a list on the site that discusses restrictions and i found somethings there that not only referred to height restrictions but had indications for rides that may be too loud for young children. for IOA i believe that all of the rides (with the exception of the shows) for 4 year olds are mostly in seuss landing and there is me ship olive in toon lagoon.

This info from the Universal Website will help you to know which rides your son will be able to ride.

Hope this helps.

We have been going to US/IOA for years and don't usually see many strollers or little kids...they are usually at Disney. Personally, I love US/IOA but would not take a 4 yo there. I would wait until they were at least 7-9 years...pre-teen is ideal for them to really get into the rides and enjoy themselves. Some of the shows would definitely scare a 4 yo like Terminator 3D. Kids grow up fast so it wouldn't be long until you would be enjoying US/IOA with him. Don't rush these young years....they zoom by so fast...enjoy Disney while your son will still love it. By the time he is a teen, you'll be renting a car to head to US/IOA all the time to supplement your Disney fun.

What about "scare factors" ? Anyplace I can find out which rides are really scarey? How about which ones are not reccommended for those of us with a bad back?
I am a big ole chicken with back problems.... : :confused3

My four year old was barely 40 inches when we visited last December and he had such a blast that he requested we go back to US/IOA this October instead of Disney World. We spent five days at the parks and he had a blast! Of course, I think we rode Flying Unicorn about twenty times!
