Please help - I have tried reading as many as the threads as possible so am starting to get clued up but this is all new to me and the wealth of info you have all placed is over whelming:

Am planning a trip at the end of Jan for my daughter's 3 Birthday - We will be there for her actual big day.

So, best (cheapish) hotel? Best meet and greet meal venue for a Princess mad little Girtl ( I am guessing Auberge)

Pre booking the cake - think that is a given following others threads.

IS there any Aristocats themed areas or rides?

Are there any good books to read to plan my trip?

What should I avoid, aim for, how much £££ should we take for 2 nights 3 days.

All info very greatfully received. (am ridiculously excited.....)

Thanks
Kate x :yay:

Yes Auberge for meet 'n'greet, but remember, you can't be sure of which princesses to meet, so don't tell your girl that she will meet this and this princess, cause you never know who's out.
The Disneyland Hotel is a real princess hotel but not cheap.
Sorry, no Aristocats areas. You can get aristocats stuff in the shops, but no characters or rides... Which is a shame, cause that's the best disney movie ever made!
I haven't heard of any books which are better for planning a trip then the DIS ;-)
Have fun with the planning :-)

The Santa Fe and Cheyenne are the cheapest onsite hotels, Santa Fe is Cars movie themed, Cheyenne is like a Wild West town.

Best meet and greet meal venue for a Princess mad little Girtl ( I am guessing Auberge)
- yes I'd say so if she really is Princess mad :)

So, best (cheapish) hotel? Best meet and greet meal venue for a Princess mad little Girtl ( I am guessing Auberge) Maybe Cheyenne if youre looking for a cheaper hotel as the theme is brilliant, its cowboy so not princessy but the best themed hotel in my opinion. Id also go for auberge for the princess meal

IS there any Aristocats themed areas or rides? Unfortunately no, its my favourite aswel, found keyrings with the 3 kittens and eiffel tower on a heart ring and aristocats clothing in the disney store in the village aswel as towels and face cloths and cuddley toys, mugs and a marie handbag..... ive just realised how much aristocats things ive bought in DLP :scared1:

Are there any good books to read to plan my trip? You cant beat the DIS for info, much more up to date then most of the books. when you arrive get a map and programme and make a plan for anythings you definately want to see/do as its good to be able to check the to do's off!

What should I avoid, aim for, how much £££ should we take for 2 nights 3 days. Snow white cane be a bit scary as its focused on the witch.... You have to see Stitch Live!!! Its great! The carousel and its a small world were definate favourites with my little lady. I would take €150 per day and maybe an extra €50 just in case.. but expect to come back with some money

Hope you have a fab, princessy time!! :cheer2::cheer2:

Hi and welcome :goodvibes

If you're there for her birthday I believe you can go to city hall, get a birthday badge and they can receive a call from Mickey. I haven't done this yet but sure someone else can confirm.

Auberge is lovely but it does come with a 'lovely' price tag so work that into your budget.

We have the Brit Guide for Disneyland Paris and absolutely love it, before our trip last year it was invaluable ... in fact we've only just got it back from friends who went last year!

Enjoy x

Hello!

What a lovely way to celebrate your DD's birthday! Our 1st trip was 1 month before DD's 3rd birthday and it was magical! (Link to Trip Report in my signature)

We went to Auberge and had a wonderful time although she didn't eat much (that was a bit of a theme for the holiday though as she was ill!) and she loved the mice as much as the princesses! I would recommend it and think as an experience it is worth the big price tag if you eat the food. The menus are online now so you can check that out before you go. It includes your drinks too.

We've ordered the birthday cake in Cafe Mickey before which is accompanied by music and a singing Mickey Mouse to your table! Be warned though it is a big cake! :cake:

I got the Brit Guide before my first trip which I found really helpful and it usually has a Planet Hollywood discount voucher inside the back cover if that's somewhere you are planning on eating. :thumbsup2

In Studios you have to see Stitch Live, the Playhouse Disney Show and Animagique they are all really good for little ones. Ive not been yet but Slinky & the Parachute ride look good too! DD loved magic carpets and the magic raining umbrella!

In the Disneyland Park, you will have to go on It's A Small World (It's the law!) and my DD also loved Peter Pan, Tea Cups, Dumbo, Buzz and Phantom Manor (that may not appeal to all 3 year olds though!!)

Head to Woody's Round Up for the best organised character interaction in the whole place - great photo ops!

If she has a favourite Princess check out the park schedule to see if she is doing a meet & greet while you are there or ask at City Hall where you can meet her, mention it's her birthday there too!

Try to catch the parade and this year's Showtime Spectacular which is really good! :thumbsup2

Happy planning!! :goodvibes

Closed till 28th Jan - We are there till 29th of Jan - PHEW!!!! Is ther a Beauty and the Beast attraction?

Phew indeed!!!! Get there first thing in the morning and go round and round and round.....!!

Sadly no Beauty & the Beast attraction that I can think of but they should be in the parade. Possibly would be at the princess meet & greet or in Auberge. Technically there is the Beast's castle which you can see from Le Pays des contes de fees, but I'm not sure that counts as an attraction!! :rotfl:

Bella-Boo will be 3 and hardly uses a pushchair now - not for months in fact but think there will be a lot of walking, But what is the deal with strollers while you are on the rides?

there are areas near all the rides where you can leave your buggy - just look for lots of other buggies :).

OMG we call DD Bella Boo too!!! Definitely take your pushchair - it is a lifesaver!!! Take a bike lock or similar and you can lock it to the railings in the buggy park areas. You can always leave it in one place while you are in a particular "land" and retrieve it before going on to the next one.

So, best (cheapish) hotel? probably the santa fe/cheyenne...

Best meet and greet meal venue for a Princess mad little Girtl ( I am guessing Auberge) yes your right probably auberge =]

Pre booking the cake - think that is a given following others threads.

IS there any Aristocats themed areas or rides? unfortunately no, if there was it would have made my sisters life lol, after 16 birthdays and 8 trips to DLRP she has managed to collect herself a whopping collection of aristocats stuff... i total she has about 30 marie cats ranging from tiny hand sized ones to ones as big as a pillow on a bed, 2 or 3 tolouse and berlioz cats, a dutchess, several marie bags, a marie pull along trolley, several marie pins and several other bits and pieces... most of which she bought at DLRP so theres plenty of aristocats merch for your little princess =]

Are there any good books to read to plan my trip? best palce to look is on the forums... much more informative =]

What should I avoid, aim for, how much £££ should we take for 2 nights 3 days. this is entirely dependant on you/your DD, if she is easily scared avoid snow white, that can be a bit frightening, and since your DD is only 3 spend some time in fantasyland its specualy geared towards younger guests with slower rides/more suitable rides for younger ones, of course see the rest of the parks too =] and sorry on my past trips i have never been without my parents and so have never had to buget for food and the like so cant help with how much to take =/

All info very greatfully received. (am ridiculously excited.....)

Thanks
