Hi all!

We live about 100 miles from St. Louis so that is the Six Flags park we are normally accustomed to. I haven't been to Six Flags Great America since the 80's when I was about 13 and so DH and DD7 have never been there.

For those of you who have been to both, please give me your comparisons? By looking at the list of rides it seems like GA might have more rides & food areas than STL?

Also, for those of you who live that way, is GA offering any special discounts for admission this year? I know for STL they have a promo on Coke cans for getting in at the kid's admission cost.

We are thinking about going up to the Chicagoland area 4th of July week. We may chicken out of GA just because it will likely be SUPER hot by then!!!

Yes, we have the Coke discount too. Also, season passes are being advertised as the lowest price in decades. Don't forget Hurricane Harbor if it's hot. No seperate admission required.

I have been debating getting a season pass to Six Flag St Louis, they are only $49.99, and you can use it at many of the othe six flags! Haven't been to great america in long time buy my SIL took her family last year and they had a great time!

If you have a Discover Card you can purchase 4 Six Flags tickets for $99 at
www.sixflags.com/discover4for99

I have never been to Six Flags in STL but I have been to Great America and have always had a good time. That being said I am a Cedar Point girl as it is the same distance to each park from where I am located.
