Comparing Space Mountain (Florida) with Space Mountain (Paris)

I don't like the one in Paris. The cars shakes so much I always end up getting a headache...

I agree that the Space Mountain in Paris is the best for effects and thrills since you get launched (like Rock 'N Roller Coaster) from outside the "mountain" and enter the top and then experience a 360° loop. It is jerky though, but I recently rode Space Mountain at WDW and it was the worst of all of the Space Mountains (both the ride and effects - showing its age as it was the first Disney Space Mountain when it opened in 1975). The Disneyland one has very good visuals and is smoother in terms of the ride. The one in Hong Kong is good and fairly smooth also (have not gotten to Tokyo yet). Being that the Space Mountain in Florida was the first one and has a double track and separate loading areas (similar to Disneyland's Matterhorn Bobsled ride), it lacked the computer design technology available today to make better roller coasters (it also used a seatbelt system when it first opened). When I was younger, my experience was still great and the jerkiness did not bother my younger body. Now, jerky coasters I do not suffer gladly!
