Comparing Pancakes

So, I'm starting my trip at Universal so as to enjoy the new the new Harry Potter park. I saw that the Royal Pacific Resort has a island themed restaurant with pineapple-coconut pancakes.

I was debating dropping my ADR for Kona Cafe to have the pancakes at Universal. They seem really similar. But I keep seeing posts about the Macademia-Pineapple pancakes, so I don't know if I should make the time for the Kona ADR or if I'm getting a fairly similar product at the other hotel.

Does anyone have any experience with both restaurants? (If this is in the wrong place, I'll happily relocate my post. It's more about Disney food than anything.)

I have never had the pineapple-coconut pancakes at Universal, but as an un-official Macadamia-Pineapple Pancake Ambassidor I can assure you that your won't be disappointed if you do decide to try Kona.

Okay! We wanted to go to Kona, but I didn't want to have a 'double' experience if we went to breakfast at the island place in Universal. I think the solution is just to try a different restaurant in Universal. I made an ADR for Kona. Thank you for your help!

Oh, unfortunately, I don't drink coffee and neither does my mom. :| We're lame. But I'll have to take a coffee drinker sometime and get them the coffee! I've read a lot about it!! Enjoy your trip at Disneyland! I can't wait to get out there someday!

Oh, thank you!!! Haven't been to Disneyland in about 30 years, so it's long overdo. Enjoy Universal, the Harry Potter lands are sooo amazing.
