How does GRR compare with Kali River Rapids in Animal Kingdom?

And how is Splash different in WDW and DL? I've never been on Splash (gasp I know) even though I've been to WDW many, many times. Don't like drops. Is there anything about the DL version that would make it more tolerable? My kids really want to get me on it but I just don't think I can.

Those rafting rides all seem similar to me, but I think GRR is a little more fun. I like the part where you go through the cave! I got wetter on Kali--maybe because it's hotter in Florida.

Splash Mountain at DL is a little different than the Florida version, but I don't think it would be "more tolerable" if you're scared of the WDW ride. The main difference is that the logs are configured so that guests sit one behind another, like Space Mtn. at WDW. On the WDW Splash, the logs have two seats in each row. I think the WDW Splash Mountain may have an extra mini drop, but I'm not sure.

I think you should give Splash a try--you'll probably love it and wonder why you were ever scared! The drop looks a lot scarier than it really is. It only lasts a couple of seconds, and if you get scared you can always close you're eyes! There's a lot of cool stuff inside Splash Mountain that you don't want to miss.

GRR is better and longer then KRR. KRR is deffiently wetter then GRR.

Splash Mountain, again wetter at WDW, as well as the story line being better. DL Splash using a lot of the audioanimatronic from the old American Sings attraction.
