Any one care to compare Rip rocket ride to space mountain, Aerosmith ride or Hulk? Trying to see if its 'worse" than any of the disney rides as far as twists, upside down turns, etc. Thanks!:confused3

HRRR does not go upside down, nor does it have a LIM launch. I love RnRC and Hulk--which do invert and do launch--but HRRR not so much. I don't like it's vertical lift hill. After that, it's pretty much like any other thrill coaster.

I can go on every single ride at Universal Studios with no problem but I can't handle Rock n' Rollercoaster or Mt. Everest! They take my stomach away so bad that I can't breathe. However, Rip Rocket, The Hulk and Dueling Dragons are just fine for me!

Omg my husband thought I was crazy when I said I couldn't go on rr coaster because for the first few seconds (felt more like minutes) I could not catch my breath and started to panic.I am usually good with coasters but not those launching ones....kill me every time!

IMO HRRR is more intense than RnR, even though it doesn't have any inversions. I think there's some serious pucker factor to that first lift, even though it's the slowest part of the ride... and I like being able to choose some of the tunes in the hidden menu.

Nothing is scaririer than when Deuling dragon starts and you husband shakes your seat belt and says it's not on all the way!! :scared1::scared1: he was joking, but I thought I was going to plunge to my death the first time we went upside down!

I found HRRR very much scarier than RnR. Still loved it -- but not a close call for me on which one is more "thrilling" (read as you feel fear of harm, but in a good way. :thumbsup2).

definetly thought HRRR is way scarier than rock n roller coaster, hulk was way to rough for me and i've never been on dueling dragons...can't stand for my feet to dangle, just cant do it. :confused3

The first time I did HRRR, it was quite thrilling on the drop and first loop, moreso than RnRC. However once the initial ride was done, the second time it was actually kind of dull and not thrilling. I find RnRC to simply be more fun than HRRR. I don't find either ride to be scary thrilling. The Hulk is just constantly turning and I just can't take that like I used to so 3 rounds in a row and I'm done for quite a while. However I did do Dragons 6 times in a row with no ill effects, going from the front of one coaster to the front of the other, swapping with another family when we were the only eight people there for the first 30 minutes.

Somewhat off topic...

 I had NO idea that RNR was going to start that way (does it launch right into a corkscrew?). I can deal with CA Screamin at DCA, but I can *see* what it's going to do and that helps. But I'm not sure I can do RNR again. We looked at our picture, and you've never seen such an agonized face at a theme park...DS looks like he's so terrified he's going to kill us in our sleep...but then by the end he LOVED it! We did not buy that picture, but it still cracks us up.

I always wish I bought the picture of my youngest son riding The Mummy the first time. He's 18 now, but was around 10 at the time. Anyway, his eyes were screwed closed ...when asked about it, he said his eyes were shut the whole time because he was too scared to look.

B & M inverted coasters are very smooth and having your feet dangle is quite a rush! If you decide to try DD, make sure you go on both but my favorite is Fire or whatever the new name is. I like the fly over of the other dragon at the beginning and there's a surprise near the end. ;)
