Yes, we have done both, and although we LOVE Disney (20 so far, and the next one coming up in a couple of weeks), Voyager had its high points too. First, my comments on Voyager:
-The ice show was the BEST! We were so amazed that we saw it twice.
-Parades down the "street" were very cool.
-Excellent 24-hour food area where you could get great sandwiches, bakery items, etc.
-Mediocre food, which surprised me, as the cuisine has been excellent on the other RCCL ships we've sailed. We were on one of Voyager's first trips, so maybe it has improved. Actually, the lunches were very good...it was the dinners that were dissapointing.
-Staterooms are smaller than Disney.
-No adults-only areas (the spa, including the giant whirlpool, was supposed to be, but there was NO enforcement).
-Mini-golf course, rock climbing wall, and "king of the world" platform were all cool.
-Labadee is NOT a private island. The natives will try to get money from you for sitting in a beach chair, trying to leave the bathroom, etc., and they literally grab you in the marketplace. It was AWFUL!
Okay, now my comments on the Magic:
-
Castaway Cay is the BEST! Unlike Labadee, it really is private.
-Adults-only areas are enforced, making this an excellent experience for childless couples (and of course it's great for kids too, since it's Disney).
-Not as much variety of food, but better quality than Voyager.
-"Disney Dreams" is such a great show...we never miss it.
-Disney has the biggest staterooms.
Hope all this helps!
