has anyone used their disney visa free companion voucher. Was wondering if it really is worth it to use it.

I was wondering the same thing! I returned the initial form that I was sent, but have not received my voucher yet. I'm wondering about black-out dates. :confused3

I received the voucher, but since we have to spend $300+ for the first ticket, I doubt we'll ever use it. We usually average $125-$150 pp for our flights.

Do you have to commit to buying the first ticket before they give you the voucher? I need to pay $250 for my first ticket in order to get the second one free. DH and I are both going to WDW in September for $233. Thats for both tickets round trip, so I am not seeing a great deal with the voucher. Now of course if airline ticket prices nearly double by the time I use the voucher then that will be a different story I guess.

I just got my voucher today so I thought I would check it out on line. There were absolutely no flights available for me and I was trying to book in March of 06. What a rip off!

I just sent for mine. Could someone check my dates for me? I won't be able to check until I get my voucher. Sunday June 25, 2006 coming back on Sat. July 1. Providence to Orlando. I would like to leave 1st flight out and middle of afternoon home. Thanks, I was hoping to be able to use as a backup in case I didn't have 2 free tickets from Southwest.
I figured that the 280 plus taxes, and fees wouldn't be too bad for 2. Probably 150-160 pp.

thanks, Donna

Hey Donna- I checked your dates and there were no flights available. I have yet to find any dates that I could you my voucher so I am kind of disappointed. :sad1:

I got mine the other day and was disgusted too! It would cost $470 for my first round trip ticket from NY. I just bought tickets at $420 round trip for two so there is NO savings!!!!!! :confused3

I haven't ordered my voucher yet. Probably should. Our dates would be Jan 15-22 out of Providence or Boston. For $280, it's possible we'd use the voucher. As of right now, I haven't found anything for less than $150 pp., so at $280 for us, it wouldn't be bad.

Now I just need to find out of there is anything for our dates.

Thank you Boston! I was looking at the wrong chart zone 6!! Zone 7 at 280 is well worth it!!! Next years trip!

I just sent for my vouchers. Can any see if there are flights available for Sep 7 or 8 and leaving on 11 or 12 from boise to orlando?

thankyou for checking for me. I am disappointed that there are no flights for the time I'm going. I booked with my grandson for right after school got out. I only used that cc so that I could get the voucher.

Oh well, maybe I'll just have to take another trip down some other time.

I didn't even bother sending for the voucher because their 2 for 1 ticket price can't even beat 1 Southwest ticket out of Manchester.

I was not one of the eligible cardholders for this promotion. But reading about most of your experiences makes me feel better. Now I don't feel like I was missing out on something great. But sorry so many of you are disappointed.

How long did it take for the activated vouchers to arrive after you sent in the slip? Hopefully not more than a week or I won't be able to use it.

Dose anyone remember how long it took to get their actually voucher? Anyone?

It took me about 3 weeks or so to get it. I have the activated voucher now and am looking for flights for early next year. There is nothing available when I put in random dates on their website. I guess I am going to have to call... I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has any luck!

Are there only certain airlines that you can use? Also if you need three
tickets how does that work? I understand you buy one for the high price
and get the second one free but then can you buy a third ticket on the same
flight for an interntet rate?
Anybody know how this would work?

Wintermom :confused3
