We just bought park hoppers. What is the best way to go between parks, e.g. EPCOT and AK? Is there a monorail like between WDW and EPCOT or do you have to drive and park? If so do you have to pay separate parking fees?

There are monorail connecting Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, but there are none going to the other 2 parks, Animal Kingdom and MGM. In order to get to any of those parks, you have to take a bus, or you can drive. Bus transportation can be taken to all other parks from any of the other parks, or from the Transportation and Ticket center. Hope that helps...

First, welcome to the DIS!!!!
oh there are many ways :D
there are buses that run between all the parks, if u rented a car, you can drive between them (if your staying onsite at one of the disney hotels, it is free parking at the parks, but if your not, you just have to pay once)

there is the monorail between Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

they are all fun ways ;) just keep reading the boards, asking questions and look at other sources.

ENJOY!:bounce: :jester:  :p

Thanks RoqueC and Jimmybop. Now the next questions: are the shuttles between parks free, are they frequent even until closing and if I have a rental car does it take a lot of time to get between parks compared to taking the shuttle.

Disney Transporation is free for anyone holding hopper tickets.

Buses run about every 20mins, plus the 10-15mins to get between parks. and the shuttles run to about 2 hours after the close of each parks (the shutts provide serivce betweent he Disney resort hotels too)

driveing between parks is easy too, there are signs everywhere, so you really cant get lost. it might be a little faster to get to the lot, but parking you have to take the tram to the front gate, where the bus system drops you off near the front gate.

everything is give and take  just depends on what works best for u.

Welcome to the Dis. I'm gonna move your post over to our Transportation board. I think they will be a lot of help over there. :) Thanks for posting.

Buses run approx every 15 minutes between the Transportation & Ticket Center, Epcot, the Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Typical travel times are in the 10-15 minute range.

If you are at the Magic Kingdom, you will need to take the Monorail to the Transportation & Ticket Center, and catch the seperate monorail to Epcot, or a bus to the Studios or Animal Kingdom.

If you are at Epcot, do NOT go to the Transportation & Ticket Center unless you are going to the Magic Kingdom. A lot of people think they need to go there to get a bus to the Studios or Animal Kingdom, when the bus is right there waiting for them.

There is also a boat that connects Epcot's World Showcase with the Disney-MGM Studios.
