We have been trying to find information about Community Halls. Which resorts have them, general hours, etc. The WDW site has a section with the title "Community Halls" but nothing listed. Are they gone?

Thanks....Assuming they are for guests of the resort? Like the pools? Actually after searching further I see they are only at some DVC resorts.I'll post there. Thanks!

Anyone can use the community hall at any resort you don't have to be staying there
I know that from personal experience. I used the one at BWV even though I was staying at BCV (BCV doesn't have one). And they knew I wasn't staying there-I painted a ceramic plate that had to be kiln fired, and they needed my resort info to pay for it. No problem!

Of the WDW DVC's, I know that there isn't one at BCV, and if there's one at VGF, I don't know where it is. What other DVC resorts in Florida don't have one? Come to think of it, I also don't know of one at the Poly.

Only DVC resorts have community halls, but not all DVC resorts have community halls. Animal Kingdom Lodge (Kidani), Bay Lake Tower, Boardwalk Villas, Old Key West, Riviera, Saratoga Springs, and Wilderness Lodge (more recently and limited hours) have true community halls in FL.

Other DVC/deluxe resorts will still offer crafts, tie dye, etc on the activities schedule.

Anyone can partake in these amenities, but some activities require an additional fee.

When we stayed at Jambo last year there was also an activity room like a community hall close to the Mara I believe. Our youngest loves the community halls. It was really disappointing that Poly didn't include one at the tower. We made leis in the main lobby and it's kind of a hot mess just trying to find a place to sit.

How do you find out what activities are available when you’re at VGF? I’ve been there twice and never saw an activity schedule.

@Genie+ shared the GF schedule earlier in the thread, but the Beach Pool (closer to the splash pad near the original villa building) has a lot of the arts and crafts and daytime activities for kids.

There have even been times when tables have been setup in the lobby of the main villa building by the children's TV area with crafts.

The tea room was even utilized prior to refurbishment for painting (highly doubt this will ever happen again with all the new furniture and carpeting).

I would double check with the front desk when you check-in.
