just thought i would post up as the weather is getting chilly here in the Merrimack Valley....i would ask anyones experience with the weather in December. Being a new england gal i feel like i am going to pack too many clothes! any experience would be great!



i have been running around all night getting ready for a yard sale tomorrow have to raise that disney cash!

time to cozy up and read some other pre trip reports.

the count down is on for December Dreaming! i think i will post some of my last TR and Dinner reviews for anyone interested. More pictures on the way as well.
ok time to log off the dis and get back to work on my grad school midterm!

Parks-
Oi with the poodles already! ---- (anyone remember that from Gilmore girls, I don’t know why but I say it all the time)

Well I booked our trip at lunch time and by the time I was back at the computer I discovered a major kink in our plan….
Parade taping! See we chose the days we were going because of grad school schedules. Lovely so it looks like the entire state of Florida is staying on site and going to the parade. I was there for the taping of the Easter parade a long time ago and well I will watch it on TV thanks.
So that puts the MK off the planning block for Friday and Saturday and puts everyone else in other parks too.

This is how it looks with 2 months to go….and it should look the same on the day we leave baring any natural disasters!

Thursday Mk the afternoon we arrive- so on the 4th we will be the New Englanders out there in shorts amazed at how warm 60 feels.

Friday Epcot—all day. I warned mum keep up or stay home. Harsh realities of touring the world J/k. we are going to wander EPCOT hit the resorts in the area for their Christmas offerings. And see the Candlelight Processional. It is also EMH at Epcot tonight so we shall see how long we stay.

Saturday MGM—yeah I know Hollywood studios but it will always be MGM. Today is a bit up in the air. It is EMH am for MGM so I know getting there for 8am would be nice for riding Toy Story but we are not ones to spend an entire day at MGM so it is looking more like we may go for the morning hit up the big rides get some fastpasses and head back to the resort. Then return for dinner and the lights use our fast passes and head over to DTD. But my thought is DTD will be a mess on a Saturday night so we could also hit MGM in the morning DTD at lunch time back to MGM for dinner and light and then crash at the resort for the rest of the night…..i just don’t know.

Sunday AK/MK- Animal kingdom all morning see the sights wander around, should be better when it is not as hot as the surface of the sun. Head back to the resort for a dip in the pool, a little naper and then dinner and onto MK for MVMCP! We were not sure about spending the extra money to do this but mum’s response was “is it going to snow on Main Street? Then we are going” so we are.

Monday our last day—nothing, I planned nothing for this day. I figured one last trip over to MK maybe another to DTD. Our flight leaves at 7pm so I figure we have until 4 to do things. Also some friends from work are heading to the world on the 7th so we will probably try to go where they are going to be today just to say hello.

That is my plan in a nut shell….anyone have any advice on DTD on a Saturday night. We were there on Friday night last trip and I think the heat made me super disgruntled to be in that type of crowd.

Also is anyone knows of the best transportation options to and fro DTD MGM.

38 days and counting until we lift off to disney. With so many things going on i do not know where the months have gone! We have just been very busy Graduate school work home yard work eghh yard work. So at 38 days our plans have stayed pretty much the same. Mum says that i am the planner and she will go where i tell her to. that is very good to know!

the only thing up in the air is due to the weather. I have never been in December and even when i was down in Siesta Key FL for spring breaks in March the weather could be cold so what about December? so there could be more breaks in the day to head back to WL to pick up warmer clothes. Just dont know about that yet.

Have been hitting all the sale racks lately looking for some summer clothes at a good discount.

I get excited when shopping mum mentions "oh get that you can wear it in florida" so i guess i am at the time where i need to start organizing what i have and looking what i need and as it stands it looks like i will organize warm weather clothing and cool weather clothing!

well after a trip to the emergency room and doctor visits they are taking out my gallblader on thursday!!! ok im 25 and have already had both ankles repaired and now the gallblader, im not elderly! well they want it done as soon as possiable, good because i told them do it now or i am not doing it. with disney about 5 weeks from thurdsay i did not want to wait any longer and fear not feeling 100% for the trip! not to mention not being able to indulge in all the dining goodies. so there is my rant. looks like for the next week i will be at home in bed with my lap top hanging out on the dis thinking happy disney thoughts and not focusing on the fact i just had my guts messed with!

Aww Seeing Tigger just now there with you made me tear up. I love Tigger!! I am a basket case just waiting to go! December 7th can't come soon enough.

thanks for the well wishes! i will be on the boards to pass the time all next week. maybe some craft projects. i already made luggage tags i am sure there is something else i can make since the puppies halloween costumes are done.

the gallblader was removed yippy and i am finally feeling well enough to be up and about the house, very very very sore! I had it done right away because of an attack that sent me to the ER it was so painful and i was just imagining that it would happen in disney so out it came. 31 days to go i should have plenty of time to recover for disney and all the christmas goodies. it will take a week before i can go back to work. and I am not allowed to horse around with the puppies. but i will be around the dis all week because i have nothing else to do!

just stumbled across your PTR, hope you made out well with gallbladder surg. I just had my out in June, I am still having trouble with food making me feel sick. We will be down there at the same time, staying at the AKL, praying for warm dry weather. Have a great trip

Hello All!!
still waiting on all of our documents boooo. we have passed the i am going to disney in one month line woohoo. i Just know that it is going to happen before i know it. i had some more facts about our trip written up but they are on my work computer an i am home in bed. everything is still the same i have not gone crazy and made any changes which is unusual for me!!
I need to start to think about what i would bring for all weather and probably pick up a few things. Probably this weekend when we head up to the outlets in Kittery Maine which we do for my birthday all the time. oh yeah the whole reason for my trip is a gift from mum for my birthday and christmas and my birthday is this sunday! 26! we are going to the Sam Adams brewery and out and about in Boston on saturday and the outlets on sunday!

26 days wooohooo i guess it is time to start figuring out what i am packing taking and need to buy because you can subtract a few days from that countdown of the days thanksgiving takes up! but not this weekend it is my birthday weekend! and after being ill for the past week it is time to get out of the house! we are off into boston for the day they are taking me to the sam adams brewery! good times!

Ahhhhh! Are you excited OR WHAT! I'm glad the surgery went well, it's really amazing how fast you can recover from the hospital now...

I can't wait to be in Disney either. It's coming up. FAST!

Gotta let me know how it is at Christmas, I've never been, and I'm dying to see all of the decorations. Take pics for me!

lots of pictures will be taken indeed!! i got a new camera for my birthday thanks to little sis and her bf!! upgrade from the one i have!

so where do we stand with supplies....
i got a new camera so that means mum gets my old one for the trip, twice the photos! (its not and old camera just a few pixels less than the one i got)

As per tradition on my birthday weekend we went to the Kittery outlets in Maine so i was hunting for clothes that would be disney minded. i made out at the gap outlet with a fleece top in red that was only 14! and 2 tshirts one in green one in black! perfect the green shirt and red jacket will be perfect for MVMCP! i would say look for me but i am am visioning a sea of holiday reds out there!

I already picked up a park bag. It is the Vera Bradley Hipster in the daisy i found it at the Paper Store for half price this summer so i picked up one for me and one for mum. I have seen a few people in their TR's using this bag so i am sure it will work for me. better than a back pack easier to quickly access things like a camera or a park ticket.

foot wear?? well i used my crocs last trip but ended up needing sneakers due to a croc induced blister. however i think i wear the crocs so much now that i dont think they will be a problem.....Sooooo i need to hold back my fashionista side and am only bring a pair of flip flops, nike sneakers, and crocs. i am sure my suitcase will be lighter.

clothing....the heated topic in my house. what do we bring? about the only thing i am sure on is what i will wear to bed! i am guessing it is like spring in massachusetts and i am going to need every type of clothing.

Just found your pre-trip report, glad to see another planner who has embraced the trip binder, and power point presentation! Can't wait to get home and tell my DH that I am not the only one that does that! Your fur babies are too cute in their costumes! My Llhasa Poo, Lilo was a mermaid on Halloween. As you can see she was less than thrilled.

Sorry to hear about your surgery, but I bet you are feeling much better.

DH and I will be traveling the during same time you are. We are staying a CBR and arrive on the 2nd and leave the 8th. We have tickets for MVMCP on the 7th, maybe we will run into each other.
