Comments on Thousand Oaks and Lake Berkley developments...

Hi,We are renting a Vacation home this September and have narrowed it down to two of them.One is in Thousand Oaks Dev. and the other is in Lake Berkley.Can someone(FLeisure are you out there??)tell me a little bit about both of them? Is one more quiet or upscale than the other? Are they both about the same distance from the airport? Any info or comments would be appreciated...

We took a look at Hapimag at Lake Berkely last August. We did not get a chance to see the rental homes, which are to the left of the entrance. If the rental homes are anything like the "Hapimag" section, you'll love it. It was very well cared for, secure ( had a gaurd shack and they were very cautious of us:lookers) and looked like a very upscale subdivision almost luxurious!. The pool area looked very nice.

I printed directions from Mapquest and they were accurate, and we needed them. I had tried to find this place a couple of trips but was unsuccessful. I am pretty picky about accomodations and I would not hesitate to stay in this subdivision? resort? I don't know what to call it.

Hi Melynny,Thanks for the low down on Lake Berkley.It's so difficult to decide on a vacation home much less the location!
I usually call them 'developments' for lack of a better word.
I stayed in Hampton Lakes last December and it was great.
We loved the location and the house.Unfortunately the house was already rented for our dates this year. It'll be fun trying out a new house.Something to look forward to.
