I am interested in knowing how much the buffet breakfasts are at the 3 on site hotels. Are they $20/person? Any comments on the breakfasts would be welcome also.

It's $19.50 for adults and 12 and under is $10.00. It's pretty good, but for the price lately we normally eat there once and choose somewhere else for the rest of the trip. It used to be about $15 per person with AP discount. I just think it's getting pricey for what you get.:thumbsup2

I like RPR's breakfast buffet the best. I'm not sure why as the food and price are identical at all three resort. I think it's because of the decor and atmosphere in the restaurant.

Like Bluer, we dine here once per trip for breakfast, and then, for the other days, have breakfast either in Citywalk or at the parks.

Orchid Court Lounge at rph.
it is open at 6 am

ala cart.
the menu is in the sticky thread.

Waffle House out on Kirkman. Feed a whole family for about the price of one adult buffet.

We have done the breakfast buffet at RPR a few times and it is pricey but I feel it was worth it just for the omelett station and they also had a good selection of breakfast food :thumbsup2

We did it once at RPR and it ended up running us about $90 for breakfast. Now they had EVERYTHING under the sun to choose from but the kids just wanted to get to the park so their mind wasnt on eating. The wife and I felt rushed the whole time and the kids only nibbled. It was quite a waste of money in my opinion. If it was just a couple and you were hungry then the selection might be worth the price.

That's a good point. If a group is in a rush to get to the park, save the breakfast buffet for another day. The breakfast buffet is best for planned slow days that involve swimming, Citywalk shopping and perhaps visiting the other hotels to experience their ambience.

We normally eat in Orchid Court as we are not big breakfast people.

But on days when we are not heading to the parks straight away we have sometimes gone to the Islands and it is lovely.

Everything was very fresh and plenty of choice and I thought it was worth every cent.

My son only eats cereal for breakfast and the waiter told us he could order off the menu and not pay the full buffet price which was nice of him as the first time we went in we did not know that, just assumed we would pay the full price regardless. He was only around $9 I think.... for cereal and a glass of milk.

Our coffees and juices were topped up continually and my DH loved the chef cooking eggs to order....perfect every time.

What you could also do is go to to the WWoHP ridiculously early, then come back to the hotel by around 10 for brunch - you have to time it carefully, but the food is so good and plentiful that you might be fine not having another meal until (a relatively early) dinner.

hours for breakfast:

Monday – Friday 7:00am – 11:00am
Saturday & Sunday 7:00am – noon

I'm not sure what the actual cost is/was but the Kitchen at Hard Rock Hotel as the best breakfast buffet I've ever had (and I've had many). If memory serves me correctly I think it was $80 total for 5 of us with tip and a 10% discount but well worth. Even the orange juice was phenominal!
