Hi, I am trying to decide between Il Mulino or Bistro De Paris. We are on the DDP, but we wanted to go to either Il Mulino or Bistro De Paris. I know they are not on the DDP, that is ok. Can anyone who has dined at either or both places share any comments with me? Thanks for any help!

They're both wonderful!

We dined at both in October 2009 ... Bistro had exceptional food and service but there were a fair number of small kids there which was a bit of surprise. Il Mulino was also very good - terrific food and service and we were there on a busy night, too.

I don't think you could wrong with either, it just depends on the type of food you'd prefer to have. French or Italian?

Or you could just do what we did and dine at both! :thumbsup2

There is a Bistro review in my current review thread, but I haven't posted Il Mulino yet. The Bistro pictures might help you make a decision ... or at least make you hungry. ;)

We ate at Il Mulino in Oct..it was amazing...I have tons of pics and a full review in my link in my signature

They are both very good but I prefer the menu at Bistro. I've read several posts about young diners at Bistro recently; this used to be a place where we could go and enjoy a long and intimate adult meal.

Sad but true--now that kids meals are available from Chefs D' France, there are kids at the Bistro. In fact, there were quite a few the last time we ate there.
But then there might be kids at Il Mulino. So were it me, I'd base my decision on what oybolshoi said-- French or Italian???

Thank you all for your replies! I did look at both of the menus and they both appeal to me(of course), anyway I think this trip we will do Il Mulino, and then do Bistro on our next trip. Thanks again for all of your comments! :goodvibes

I think that Bistro is definitely Fine Dining. Children are discouraged. And Bistro is considered by many to be second only to V&A in all of WDW as far as both food and service are concerned.

No offense meant to anyone but I wish they'd discouraged children when we dined there in October. I'm hearing from more and more people that the Bistro staff are allowing parents to order meals from the Chefs de France childrens' menu for the youngsters in their parties. It was definitely not the most quiet or enjoyable atmosphere we've ever experienced at Bistro.
