I keep reading about maintenance issues that occur during vacations and we all say, report it while you are there, but often the visit is just too busy and problems go unreported. I wonder if, along with all the other paper products they leave in our room, they should leave a check-list with comment lines asking if the guest was aware of any maintenance issues which needs attending, i.e., light bulb replacements, clogged drains, paint touch-ups. The card does not have to be fancy, just state what is for, where to leave it (in the room, at the front desk
) and a few blank lines for write-in comments. In addition to the card, an email could be sent from the resort with the same survey attached. In my opinion, if they did this, the survey needs to go back to the manager of the resort so the issues can be attended to at once. Yes, this will cost members money but in the long run, unattended maintenance issues cost members more money.
