Coming up on our 7 month window..

We are approaching our 7 month window to switch resorts and was wondering just how much luck I will need this time around. We do this quite often but have never staying at Beach Club. We are after a two bedroom and the date is June 13th. In all other swaps from our home resort of OKW to wherever we have never had a problem but I am now hearing the Beach Club can be hard to get for a two bedroom at the 7 month window. Our backups are WLV's and just staying at OKW. Any info will be greatly appreciated....smjj

We own at AKV and had no trouble getting a 2BR dedicated for this past July for 4 nights. I could have gotten 8 nights, if I wanted. I had a similar opportunity for a 2BR dedicated in 2013 for a July trip, but we ended up at BLT instead. I would think you would have a pretty good chance for mid-June.

Just a 'heads up' that there are 2 types of dedicated 2 BR at BCV.
One with 2 queen beds in the 2nd BR, the other has 1 Q and a pull out sofa.

BCV is usually open at 7 months out between mid-Jan and mid-Sep but next year there is the additonal issue that rooms are apparently going to be refurbished, meaning some will be out of service and not available to reserve weekly, lowering number of rooms that can be reserved. Moroever, the likely times when there is often a problem getting BCV during that Jan to Sep period are holiday times, Star Wars weekends, and race weekends. The start night you will be seeking, June 13, is part of a Star Wars weekend. Thus, you do have a real risk of not being able to get June 13 at BCV in a 2BR. That does not mean you can't get it but chances are more like 50/50. As to VWL as a back-up, that has invariably been open at 7 months out throughout all of June.

8:00am eastern. It's exact. I booked a 7 month yesterday, I had time.gov up for the exact time. Then when I hit the button, it logged me off for inactivity! Luckily I was able to log back in and still get the room (VGC 1 bedroom Aug 9 to 13).

You can book at your 7 month window at 8 am EST.
