My wife and I have visited Disney 4 times in the last 5 years, staying at the AKL the last time and we joined DVC on 5/04 buying at SSR. Due to weather (hurricane Jeanne), and medical problems, Sunday will be our first vacation using our DVC points. We will be staying at SSR for 1 week. I am wondering what we should do as far as park admissions and the like. We like the Magic Kingdom and would like to see the Animal Kingdom but we also plan on visiting non Disney parks Sea World and Busch Gardens. We plan on returning in October and again next January. Would the Annual Passes or Premium Annual Passes make sense for us? We are in our 40's and now in relatively good physical condition. We aren't cheap but don't want to waste money either. From reading this board, we plan on bringing groceries to the room and making lunch and sometimes breakfast there. I know this is kinda vague but I guess I am looking for any tips that any of the experienced posters can offer. Thanks in advance for any help.

I would recommend an AP if you were to visit the parks for 7 days thruout the year - now with the MYW tickets you have to pay additional for park hopping and for non-expiration so you might want to explore and compare all the possible tickets out there. For me, an AP is a no brainer with 2-3 visits during the year. And DVC members also get a discount on the AP.
Good luck with your decision. It's all up to the individual.

iluvdisney, thanks for the info. I am pretty sure we will be buying AP's but I will look into the MYW tickets.
