Looking for a pair of heels, maybe open toed, something a little summery.

But I don't want BIG heels, I just want a little height. And I would like something comfy since I will be with kindergartners all day. Need some good suggestions. I seem to only be able to find flats (which I also want to invest in) and big spike heel type of things. Thanks!

Clarks makes wonderful shoes with heels that are very comfortable, and their shoes are very affordable! You can find them at Ross and Marshall's.

Try DSW Shoe Warehouse either online or at a mall near you. I have bought almost all of my shoes there for the past 5 years.

They have an excellent and large clearance section, and their regularly priced shoes come in a wide variety. They usually have deals going on.

:laughing: Is there such a thing?

In all seriousness, I'd love to find something like that so I am anxious to hear the replies.

I usually wear tennis shoes, shorts, and tank top in Disney World, but we have 2 signature restaurants this time around so there will be sundress days in there! Need something nicer than tennies!

haha, well you could be like my sister, she always carries another pair of shoes around. I kid you not! She is a shoe-aholic, everyday she gets a new order from Aldos haha. :rotfl:

but thanks everyone, I am going to check those out!

Clark's has an artisan series -- I just bought the sugar plum in black. It has a stylish front with a rounded toe, and about 1 3/8 heel. Extremely comfortable, from day one.

I am willing to pay more for work shoes, especially black heels. I wear them almost every day -- when you look at it like that, "cost per wear", they are quite affordable. I'd rather pay more and get shoes that will last a full year and not hurt my feet.

Naturalizer shoes also tend to be quite comfy, as well as some styles of Van Eli -- but Clarks wins for all-day wear and durability over time.

I get my shoes from Zappos online. They have an extremely liberal return policy, and although I always pick 4-5 day free shipping, I usually have them the next day.

It may sound crazy but Crocs has a new line of dress shoes
that have a heel.
They are very comfortable, I have a pair and have worn
them for 3 long days without any sore feet.
Go to Crocs online a see the new styles.

Check out zappos.com - best online shoestore I've found. Read the reviews, they are usually excellent sources of info.

I have all of the above styles and I can now wear heels anytime/anywhere.

I wouldn't recommend wearing crocs with Kindergarteners. They can be slippery and sqeaky when wet! I do have them and also find them comfortable, but like I said, I don't wear them where there might be spills...

For those who order on line, how do you determine sizes? I basically live in sneakers and crocs, so I assume sizes for heels are different. I have a pair of aerosoles (boots) that are a 6.5 should I go w/ that? I am going in the direction of aerosoles or the clarks.

Are you a runner? I buy my running shoes .5 size larger because my feet expand so much -- but my heels, sandals, crocs, and boots are all the same size...

Aerosoles are really comfy and you can get great deals at shoebuy.com.

I order the same size as my sneaker if the heels are low, wider if they are high (not that I own many high heels - I think 1 pair!!).

Try zappos - free shipping BOTH ways, so if you don't like them, return is free.
