So my Crocs are giving me sore ankles. :confused3

And I have Adidas & New Balance sneakers but they're both over a yr old & I have noticed being anymore comfortable at the end of the day.

I have flat feet so I can't have anything w/ an arch built in bc getting my feet used to that would take time - much more than 2 wks!

Any ideas? I'm so sad my Crocs aren't doing it for me.

Hi! I too have the same problem but my crocs were perfect, after I put those Dr. Scholl's padded arch supports in them! Took less than 5 minutes to get used to them, but you have to get the more expensive kind ($15) in the pharmacy section of a local department store. It worked for me, I hope it will for you!

I have some of the most comfortable shoes for running I wear at Disneyland. I began running half marathons and I found Ryka Shoes from famous footwear to be so comfortbale. They are womens running shoes. I too have extreemly flat foot, in fact my mom said I had it since I was a baby and I have extra wide feet too and my Ryka shoes have more toe box area for me.

I wasn't sure what to bring for our first trip (I've been twice now), so brought a pair of Crocs, tennies, sandals and flip-flops.

The sandals were fairly new and rubbed in the back of the ankle, so once blisters appeared I quit using them. I came up with a good plan of wearing the tennies during the first part of the day, then switching to either the flip-flops or Crocs when we returned to the room mid-day. If we did not return mid-day, I made sure to wear a different pair of shoes the next day. I didn't have any further trouble with blisters or hot spots or abnormally sore feet.

I'd recommend a good pair of walking shoes. This past WDW trip I wore Nike walking shoes...they tend to be flatter/wider than running shoes.

I also recently made a discovery. Wear socks with arch support. It sounds weird, but Nike makes dri-fit socks with a tighter weave in the arch. I believe other companies do this too. I had them for Florida, but yesterday, while marathon after-christmas shopping with MIL, I realized that at the end of the day, my feet didn't hurt. I was wearing my flat Skechers, too. My feet are pretty flat too, so I was pretty amazed. Next time I do DL or a WDW trip, I'm buying more of those socks...

Just got back from a 3 day trip. I used my addidas that I wear to work (I am a nurse) so they are WELL broken in. I never had sore feet the entire time. One thing to note is that I wear sport socks with the arch support in them. They keep my socks from sliding around and are absolutely perfect for this kind of walking. I do have crocs but it was just too darn cold to wear them. I was much more comfortable in my addidas. One thing to note, my son's friend wore some old vans tennies. She got sore feet the first day and I lent her my crocs for the last two days. She said she felt GREAT after that and never had a foot problem the rest of the time.

birkenstocks. tried sneakers last time, couldn't do it,owwweeeee. back to birks and it was all good.:thumbsup2

i got some shoes from pay less, there slip resistnet, hard black big toed and arch suport for my feet, every time i wore them i felt fine. (except reguler pain though my legs from a while ago) but when i put my boots on for special dinners well lets say i could fill it.
