Comfortable sandals for kids?

Are the land's ends wide? My problem is my feet are wide. I wear a kids 12 or 1 depending on the width.

ALL land's end shoes are, I think, wider than the average shoe. My son has wide feet -- normally, he can't even wear a Nike anything -- too narrow. These, however, fit him.

Gopherit, my DD is 4 also, and when we went in March insisted on buying the cuter little flip-flops, that have diamonds on the straps, which she said were pretty, and a pair of Barbie slip on type flip flops from Target. She wouldn't have it any other way, and she was ok but she did spend a lot of time in the stroller ! At the Old Navy they have some flip flops for little girls and I know they must be comfy because my daughter tries to wear them with anything.

I had THE hardest time finding any kind of sandles, flipflops. They all had this weird bottom... like plastic? I would slip I found ONE pair... in all of AZ (I kid you not) and i went to tons of stores....

My ds seems to be set on the Timberland sandals ($25 junior size), so we're going to order those for him. Our older ds is in the adult sizes but I'm having a veerrry hard time justifying $70 for his size in Timberlands, not that he cares about name brands in the least. Or does this just mean the younger ds gets away with it because he's the loudest?
Gonna order the Lands End sandals for DD. Basically as long as they're girly, she will be happy!
Will try to find the newer versions of Reef for the rest of us.

REI is always a good source for serious sport sandals; this is an investment, but worth it if your kid is going to spend the entire summer in them and get them wet all the time.

Marshall's stores have been stocking a lot of Kamik sandals this summer. Good ordinary-use brand, made in Canada. They are running about $15 at Marshalls.
