Comfort Suites price rate promise????????

I have a room booked in Valdosta, GA at the Comfort Suites for 101.92. I found the exact same room and such on Travelocity for 100.92, same date of course. Comfort Suites has some type of best rate program. Anyone been able to use this claim to get a free night? I have a feeling that there will be some type of "clause" that they would not be able to honor it, but I just thought I would ask.

I've used the comfort suites best rate guarantee a few times before. Never been turned down! Make sure it's the same room type with the same terms (refundable vs nonrefundable, and prepaid vs not prepaid). It also has to be within a certain amount of time (24 or 48 hrs, not sure) since you made the reservation. Good luck.

It has to be within a certain number of hours. So, what I did was I cancelled/rebooked the Comfort ressie and then submitted it. I got a park-n-fly free! It was great!
