Comfort Suites Maingate East- how long to parks?

My family will be staying at the Comfort Suites Maingate East the end of May. This is our first trip to WDW & we are very excited (!) and a little nervous. We will be driving and are wondering how hard (or easy) it is to get around "the World", Kissimmee, Orlando etc. and also how long we can expect the trips to the parks to take from where we will be staying, how the traffic is in this area and anything else you can tell us about Comfort Suites and Old Town. Thanks.

Excellent hotel choice. We are returning for our second stay at Comfort Suites Maingate East.

It will take you 10 minutes at the most to reach the Disney road system. From there it just depends on which park you are visiting. The maximum time on the Disney roads is about 10 minutes.
