Comfort Suites Maingate East--good rate???

I am planning ahead and booked us 7 days at this hotel in October. When I booked through their website I was given the rate of $89 for the first night and last night (weekend days) and $69 for the other 5 days. I thought this seemed like a good rate.

When I received my confirmation through Comfort Suites chain they had knocked one of the $89 nights to $69. So.... 6 days at $69 and 1 day at $89 (and change).

I thought this was odd and hadn't happened to me any other time I've booked somewhere but am pleased and wanted to share in case anyone out there is considering this place.

Oh...i booked through the actual hotel's website first and then received the confirmation through the main Comfort Suites chains a day later......

Can't wait to go!!!

I just booked this hotel for $65/night. The website rate stated it was $89/night but when I called the hotel directly and asked for better rates (AAA), they gave me $65. May be worth a phone call!
