Comfort Inn LBV $29.95/night!!

This is very old information, but...

after spending the night at Comfort Inn LBV in 2002, I said I would never go back to that motel ever again!

As for location, it may be the most convenient hotel outside of WDW.

The room was generally shabby and worn. We had a lot of road noise. The people at the front desk were not particularly friendly. The staff tried very hard to get us to try a timeshare presentation. I was a little afraid of the lack of security in the parking lot.

Like I said, its been 6 years. I don't remember all of the particulars. We had been to the same motel in 1994 and recommended it to everybody as a clean comfortable room, and were horrified to go back in 2002 and find a real dump.

I really, really want to stress that we last stayed there in 2002.

Anything can change in 6 years!

Yep, I waited too long too. I should be more decisive.

I just booked this yesterday for $36 a night on Hotels.com. It's a great price if anyone is interested. I am a little nervous after reading some of the bad reviews, but there also some decent ones, too. I just need one night prior to our stay at the Hard Rock. I figure if it's REALLY awful, for $36 I can cut my losses and leave. Hopefully it will be just fine, though.

For those that have stayed here... Seriously, how is it? It has a 2 Diamond Rating from AAA. I've stayed in 2D that were fine and a couple that were..

This rate is so great that even with renting a car, I think it is better than my AP rate at POP. However, I don't want a moldy, smelly room or to be afraid to return to my room at night. Has anyone checked Trip Adviser?​

It's been several years since I stayed here.

That said the room was not an issue. The front desk was a little on the incompetent side. (I confused them. I was suppose to arrive about midnight, flying from CA. My plane got cancelled and I wound up on the red eye. Arrived at 6 am and wanted a room. Thier first response NO. My response I Paid for last night so either give me a room or my money back. A manager finally figured this mess out LOL!)

The breakfast was actually kind of "scary" There wasn't a TON of food and it was kind of a free for all to get it!

They must have rehabbed the hotel since then because we were there for one night 8/22/08 and the room was very clean and new looking. Absolutely no complaints at all. I would not hesitate to book there again.

I just posted an updated review. We were there for 1 night 8/22/08 before our onsite visit at WDW and the room we were assigned was clean and new looking. (Even the carpet which is usually in bad shape whereever you go). Hopefully your room will be great too!

Got the $29.95 rate for Friday night before moving to the RPR at US. Here's a quick review:
Checked in around noon - went very smoothly, and room was ready. Had 4th floor parking lot side of bldg. 3. Room was clean, although worn. This is my 5th stay here and never had any problems. Location for off-site is great!!
