Comfort Inn LBV $29.95/night!!

I booked 4 nights using this promotion yesterday. I was just curious about something that was on my confirmation. It mentions "Rate Type: Travelzoo $29.95 w/o BRK." Do you think the "w/o BRK" just means no Hot Breakfast, as they do offer one at their own restaurant? We would still get the free continental breakfast, don't you think?

Yes, they have 2 breakfasts, if you're just getting the continental breakfast you can just go to the coffee/cereal/toaster counter but I suggest you get there as early as possible. Also, if you're going to need a tray to take back to your room you need to take the one that's under the coffee pot in your room on the microwave. I didn't know that and had to come all the way back to the room.

Why can't they allow 6 in a room?! I can never get good rates because we have 4 kids. The baby is 2, I know sometimes that age doesn't count. Would it be bad if I just left her off? I only need one night. We'd check in, head to the parks for our last day, come back to sleep before hitting the road the next day. I was going for the family suite that costs only slightly more.

I just booked two rooms! :cool1: Thanks so much for posting this! When I made my reservations, she asked if we wanted to upgrade to the full breakfast, but I declined. The continental is included in the price, so I am sure that is what it means.

How much was it to upgrade to the full breakfast ?

For those that have stayed here... Seriously, how is it? It has a 2 Diamond Rating from AAA. I've stayed in 2D that were fine and a couple that were.. :scared1:

This rate is so great that even with renting a car, I think it is better than my AP rate at POP. However, I don't want a moldy, smelly room or to be afraid to return to my room at night. Has anyone checked Trip Adviser?

:woohoo:
I just got a 2 Bedroom Windsor Hills Condo quote at $28.42 per night, not including tax. Sounded like a great deal, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath. I could not use the dates but I thought that was pretty good!

I have reservations at Windsor Hills for December 10-17 for $70 a night. What dates did you find $28.42 a night??!!:woohoo: I am registered for the WH club, but got no such offer...:sad2:

I think it was $30, but I don't know if that was per person (surely not) or all people in the room. I declined. We don't want to eat a big breakfast before walking around the parks.

Thank you so much for this post. I was already holding a reservation here, but have cancelled and re-booked. I saved $200!!!!

What type of breakfast is included with that low price? My kids need more than toast and pastries in the morning.

I reserved a room for 7 nights, THEN checked Trip Advisor! Reviews are all over the place, but then I've seen reviews all over the place for my beloved Swan and Dolphin, too!

We stayed at this Comfort Inn for 2 nights in 1999 before moving to All Star Movies. I paid $27.95/night then, and $99 at ASM - but was glad to move on-site and not have to use my car again.

We stayed for one night last December (and are doing so again this year). The hot breakfast includes make your own Mickey waffles, eggs, a potato casserole type dish, fruit, cereal, sausage, bacon, I think there were biscuits and sausage gravy but do not hold me to that. Overall - pretty good for the price -- we paid for the 2 of us and our kids ate for free -- this held us until our ADR later that night.

As for the hotel -- nothing fancy - but our room was clean. No bugs. Our room was surprisingly quiet although we had a room on the highway side. Definitely a do-able hotel. I paid 3 times the price for a Days Inn in Georgia on our way home and his Comfort Inn was WAAAY better.

Worth the price if you are just doing a stop over before moving on site -- or if you plan on being out of the room most of the time. The hotel is really really large - so expect that. We found all of the hotel employees very very nice and helpful. That said - we checked in around 11:00 pm and checked out the next morning at 9 am - so our stay was very limited.

Thanks so much for posting this link. I just booked our room for our two final nights. We will be at POP the first few nights and then moving off site and going to Sea World.

The price includes continental breakfast, so I am guessing bagels, muffins, cereal, etc. I think the price is amazing! We don't want a big breakfast, but if we did we could easily afford it with the savings.

Did anyone already mention this on the Travel Zoo website.
Comfort Inn LBV for $29.95 a night and that includes a microwave and refrigerator. I've stood there before and I had no complaints about it. And that rate also includes free breakast, nothing fancy, and a $25.00 Food and Beverage Credit!!:cool1:

Thank you for this info! :goodvibes

:thumbsup2 I am booking our first night down... we are driving straight from Ohio and could not add a day to our Pop reservation. Staying here will be cheap, includes breakfast, and is close to Disney (anyone know exactly how far away)?!

I have stayed here a few times. The location is terrific. Just down the street from downtown disney. I can't tell anyone about the shuttle service because we always rent a car. The free breakfast is nothing to die for. Just oatmeal, bread to make toast, cereal, etc. The breakfast area does get very crowded and I end up taking the food back to my room. If you like quiet, request a room facing the parking lot. The other side is facing the highway and it gets very noisy. The place is a little rundown but for a night or two, it is worth it. I will tell you some bad things - We ended up in a suite for one night and there was a bug that looked something like a cockroach on the wall. We did encounter pubic hairs on the towels a few times. The ice machines don't work that well. They do have a guard booth when you arrive so it makes it a little safer. Also when you check in they will give you a voucher and you turn around and walk to the other side of the lobby where they try to sell you tickets and they give you a bag of free stuff.

Darn it! Just saw this and now all the rooms are gone for that special.
This is the message I got when I tried to book one:

Special Offer from Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista:
$29.95 -- Orlando Hotel incl. Breakfast, 60% OFF
We're sorry, this special has either sold out due to huge demand or may no longer be available at the originally advertised price, terms and conditions.

:sad2:
