I just booked this hotel at www.travelzoo.com for $29.00nt. I am so excited, going next week.
Heard some bad and good reviews for this hotel. But, for $29.00 a night you can't hardly beat that.
Offer is supposed to be good for August 1- October 31. But you have to reserve by August 6.

I stayed there years ago and it was nice and clean, nothing fancy, but, heck for that price, you cannot beat it. :)

Thanks for posting! I need somewhere to stay for 6 hours before checking in onsite and hitting the parks.
Has anyone else stayed here recently? Ohio Mommy please check back in and let us know how your stay was

Thanks again

Will do. I did a lot of looking on the internet for somewhere to stay and this was the best deal I found. Sounded a lot better there than at a Super8 at the same price.

Are you needing a 6 hour hotel stay to stow your bags?

If so, you can leave them with Guest Services at your onsite resort and they will bring them to your room on check-in.

Just a thought,

:)

We will arrive late (after midnight) but will be out of the hotel by 7am. So really somewhere to crash for a couple of hours before hitting the parks. Im hoping our room at BC will be ready by early afternoon.

Thanks on the info on the hotel. I was previously booked for $20 more a night....just called and changed over saving a few bucks! Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know that people have also been getting this hotel on Priceline lately for $19 a night! I'm getting ready to bid for it too!! ;)

BTW...I have stayed at CI-LBV, and it's clean, and in a great location. We are happy staying there last year. (we are never in our room!)

I just won a bid from PL today, at the Grosvenor, 2 rooms during Thanksgiving weekend for $35 a night!! Actually, it was $25, since I had $10 bonus money from PL!! WOOHOO!!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Just read on another post that this hotel is coming up on Priceline for $19- maybe you can save a few more bucks?

2* rate by PL! I'm kind of wary now about bidding on it, because some of the other 2*'s are at the "gates", and I don't want any where, except for LBV! So, I'll probably skip them and try for 3* only.

If you are interested in PL, definitely study 1st at biddingfortravel.com!! WELL worth it!

DisneyFan,

What is wrong with the "gates". I don't have a good sense of the area outside of WDW, is it not safe, inconvenient to shops, etc?

Thanks

I could be wrong, but when I think of the "maingates", they are basically in Kissimmee. Yet, PL shows some of the 2*'s that are "maingate", as part of the "WDW Vicinity" area. Well, I only like to stay in the WDW Vicinity that is Lake Buena Vista! Kissimmee is just too far out and "old town", run down for my tastes. LBV is the newer, more clean area.

HTH! :)

Has this rate expired through travelzoo? I have been searching most of today, and the best rate I found was through Comfort Inn's website, at $45 a night.

It appears to be gone.

I saw it on another web site for like $34 or $36 a night but I'll be darned if I can remember which one!! :(

Before booking a room here, I would verify their "add on" rates! Seems like we had a $5/day add on fee for who-knows-what last year...
