Comfort INN across from the outlets...Warning

Be very careful at this property!!!!! We have stayed there 3 times before after a late night flight and had no problems this time however.....


We will never go back. After arriving at 1am. I went to put the kids to bed and pulled down the bunks sheets on the side of the bunk mattress was a visible black bug. Upon inspection and not close expection. right on the 2nd mattress 2 bugs and some type of little white larve worm. Not sure if bed bugs are visible inlarvae form not sure what it was but was all set with it!!!!

Called the front desk where there was NO surprise I never said Bed bugs. I said bugs near the mattress. and the response was 79 dollar a night or a 1,000 dollar a night makes no differance there are bed bugs in every catagory. So to me she just confirmed she has bedbugs.

Watch out!!!!!

Eww! They're nasty too..they bite.

There was an article in many major US newspapers recently about how bedbugs are making a big resurgence in hotel rooms. Something about how many of the banned pesticides they used to be able to use now can't, and they've come back strong, in places besides FL too.

It also mentioned how once a hotel has them, it's nearly impossible to get rid of them!! They need to do extensive cleaning and fumigation of entire rooms and stuff, and sometimes dispose of the existing mattresses and sheets just to clear up the problem.

Was this the Comfort INN at LBV? Not that it matters as I do believe you can get bed bugs in any hotel. I am just curious.

it was the Comfort Inn on the parkway nearest to downtown Disney. The catholic church is across the street.

I think that is the one in LBV...

Did you stay the night there still? or did you move to another hotel? Did the hotel staff ever come up and clean away the bugs?

I've stayed at the CI LBV many times and don't recall any churches near it - only restaurants and other hotels (this is the one on Palm Parkway). Also I've always had a clean, bug-free room there...

It is the one on Palm parkway. The Catholic Church is across the highway from the property.

I have stayed there several times as well. and had no problems. as I said I do not know if they were bed bugs they looked like fleas to me.

The girl at the desk said the comments about every price level had bed bugs. She said bed bugs. I simply said bugs.

She moved us to building 3 VS 2. and said building 3 would not be a problem. Simply take from that what you will.

We are staying there in June for 6 nights(Comfort INN LBV)and I will make sure to check for any type of bugs.

Ii am so skeeved right now, I can hardly stand it! I guess I should be checking mattresses when we are traveling.
