Comfort Houses Magic Band Ready?

We were given the cards to use 2 weeks ago, but they must be testing the magic bands on the doors. Just for shiggles, I put my magic band up to the laundry room door one day, and it clicked and unlocked for me. No luck any other days, though. I always tried it first instead of fishing for my wallet to get to the card they gave me.

On our stay at the fort last week, our bands did open the gate near the security guard without problem. We were given a card at checkin for use at laundry and comfort stations, but did not try to use it. Our bands worked at the parks just fine and for fast passes, and they were also scanned by the guard when we went to Kona in the Poly for breakfast. We were told that the cards would still be given out until the bands worked 100% on the comfort stations.

Hey, maybe now I can make a FP+ for toilet stall number 1 at 6:00 am and a second FP+ for shower stall number 2 at 6:15 am.

Does anybody know if those two will count against my "3 FP+ per park per day" allotment?
