Booked WL with free dining pin (and club level for me, dd10, and elderly/disabled mother) on Jun 14 for stay Dec 14 thru Dec 22. The cast member did not mention anything about when to make dining reservations.
Checked confirmation email on Jun 15 and realized that no single night room was booked for Dec 14. Called again to add the single night. This cast member said that I could book dining reservations on Jul 17.
I started to leisurely plan our dining schedule. Last night late I was reading this board and realized that the Jul 17 date was wrong, and that I could've booked reservations on Jun 15!! I also read that people were having problems with the new online booking system.
At 6:00 this morning I clicked on the link to the old site (found here) and began to make reservations. Couldn't make one for BOG for any of the first seven days and I couldn't link to our resort reservation to see if something was available for the last day of our stay. I had to pay in full for CRT and Akershus, even tho' we had dining plan (b/c site didn't know we had dining plan.).
I gave up and called the ADR number once they opened this morning. The cast member had to cancel, refund and re-book CRT and Akershus. He found an opening at BOG for our last night but not until 8:30 (that's okay for our last night!). He said I had to call online support to link the reservations I made to our resort stay.
The online support cast member couldn't help me b/c I'd used the old site!! I had to clear my cookies and cache and eventually I was able to link everything on my account.
Ultimately, I'm thrilled with the reservations but heck, it took WAY too much time to do this. Here are our reservations:
12/15 4:50 pm 1900 Park Fare
12/16 4:25 pm Cinderella's Royal Table
12/17 2:45 pm Crystal Palace
12/18 4:30 pm Saana
12/19 MVMCP
12/20 5:00 pm Akershus
12/21 8:30 pm Be Our Guest!! (with Bippity Boppity Boutique appt at 2:00 pm)
