Comeback rate??

I just posted aboutt his for december, but I'd like to surprise my husband with a trip for our 1st anniversary...Would I be able to get a comeback rate when we go down to WDW in May? I am staying at the Swan, is that a problem? I neevr heard of come back rates that is why i am asking!

You must be staying at a Disney resort to qualify for the comeback rate. Since the Swan is not owned by Disney, it may not qualify.

Just to be clear you do not have to stay at the same Disney resort again to use the come back rate but you do have to be staying in a Disney resort and then book your future trip for a Disney resort. Example, we stayed at the AKL in Feb we called from our room and book our end of Aug begining of Sept trip at the YC with the comeback rate.

The Swan and Dolphin are on WDW property but they are not "Disney" resorts.

I hope this clears up any confusion you had.

vb family-- we got a really good deal on concierge level at the swan and we really don't want to switch....AP rates will hopefully apply to that time and we will be able to get almost as good a deal...

Also, I just wanted to add that I think your first stay has to be at least 3 nights at a Disney resort in order to qualify for the comeback offer. I think they just want to keep people from staying offsite during a trip and then checkin to an All-Star for one night just to qualify for the comeback rate.

Yes, You're right about the minimum night stay. I remember hearing about that when people were booking the other come-back rate. Sorry.

We are going to stay at the Swan in May, then hopefully an anniversary trip in october and thenw e want to go the week following xmas...October would be too late to book for December right?

I think you can use it throughout 2003.

Isn't the Returning Guest discount promotion only available through sometime in March? It was supposed to end at the end of February, but then it was extended for another couple weeks.

I think the BAQ rate was available until March and then they extended it. This is a different code.

I was told that I could use this if I call from Disney when I am there in May and it would not be expired. The CM said it is good far beyond that.

When the info for the NEW come back rate was posted on these boards a few days ago nobody knew it was a come back rate.

Several people called and were told you had to book from a Disney hotel.

I called, told CRO we were going to be at Vero Beach in May and he said just call back once we get there to book a possible stay for October. He said the code I mentioned was good for quite a while yet. He did not give exact dates. He said it was good for 2003 but I don't know if that meant you can BOOK it in 2003 or you can only book until a certain date and then USE it in 2003.

I believe the code was ZWHV.

Are you going to be at WDW soon so you can take advantage of this?
