Got home from BCV on 6/26...decided I didn't really want to stay there in Nov so called MS to waitlist at BWV. I had a studio at BCV for 11/30-12/1. I'm now waitlisted for 'any view' studio at BWV. Seems they can get me in for the first 3 nights but my last night hasn't come up yet. MS asked me if I would take any view that came up. Sure, since I was already paying the prem. pts at BCV. So, here's hoping I get them all. I just love BWV!!!

Just got the call from MS and got the final 2 nights for my OKW 2 bdrm. Now that opens up a studio for someone waiting for Dec. 4-7!!1

we just received our letter that said we got our final waitlist night (12/4) at BCV for our pre-Christmas trip. Now we're staying Nov 29 to Dec 7!!!! Can't wait-- it's our first stay at BCV and the boys can't wait to get in that pool!!!

My waitlist for the BCV for my last two nights, Dec 3rd and 4th, came through! I just got the letter today!

I'm going with a bunch of my DIS friends so I'm really looking forward to the trip! Booked my airfare, now to buy a ticket for MVMCP!

Did you guys bother calling MS to see if you got your waitlist?? I told them to just go ahead and do what needed to be done to get me over to BWV in a studio for Nov 30-Dec4. It was doable except for my last night...wonder if any of you got my studio nights at BCV!!! If you did, maybe I'll get mine at BWV. Should I just wait to get my conf. letter??

I guess that the easier days were the Friday and Saturday, but I think there's still enough time before December that you'll get the Sunday as well. I was very surprised that we got the Sunday Oct. 2nd at BWV because of the F&W going on, and this was less than 4 months away. You have 5 months left, so I'm sending you Pixie Dust, I think you'll get it.

We waitlisted day-by-day for our December trip at the BCV (have SSR as our back-up). Our trip is 12/3 - 12/11. We need a two bedroom. All the nights have come through except for Tuesday night 12/6. I sure could use some pixie dust so we don't have to move three kids for one night! I called right at the 7 month mark each day so I'm hoping this night comes through. Good luck everyone on your waitlists. It's been great reading about the success some of you are having!

I waitlisted for a 2br at BWV and BCV for 11/27-12/2 with a confirmed reservation at SSR. I called once to add requests on to my SSR reservation and then asked the rep to check and make sure that I was waitlisted for ALL the views at BWV and BCV. She put me on hold to check and came back on the line to tell me that my waitlist for BWV preferred view had come through and she was surprised/confused that no one had called me yet. So I took it.

A few weeks later I decided to just call back and ask about the BCV waitlist--which I was still hoping for--(either that or a Boardwalk view at BWV). The rep again put me on hold and came back to tell me that my waitlist had come through. So I took it and canceled at BWV.

This is my first time to go using my points and subsequently my first time to waitlist, but calling worked okay for me.

I know that they don't encourage you to call to check on waitlists, but I often wonder what would have happened if I hadn't called those two times. Maybe I'm just psychic and happened to call at the right time, or maybe this coincidence just happened to me twice, but it's made me a fan of calling none the less....

I called MS today to make a dining ressie, and asked them to check on my wait list at VWL for Oct. 23. No change....I'm still waitlisted. It's a Sunday I'm waitlisted for, so maybe that makes it a little more difficult.

You are not alone in your wait...I'm patiently still hoping to switch my 12/10-12/15 BWV Pref. Studio to a Standard (would be nice to hoard some of those points) or VWL (our home resort).

My DH sez I should just be happy that we were able to get any ressie outside of the 7 month window...but, I keep hearing how great the WL is decorated @ Xmas.

It seems as though the key is to call MS for some other reason, then ask about the waitlist .

Made a reservation around the 11 month mark for BWV 1-bdrm Std view for 10/2/05 - 10/10/05.

Decided it was too short while at BWV this past April and wanted to extend it until 10/14/05. Called MS from the room and all nights were available except the night of 10/10/05 - went on wait-list. Called 2 days ago - still wait-listed but added 10/1/05 (sat) since it was still available.

Will wait for a little while longer for the wait-list to come through before purchaseing airfare. If the wait-list doesn't come through by that time, I will drop the rest of the reservation and either go the orginal 8 nights (10/2-10/10/05) or 9 nights including 10/1/05 (Sat).

Called MS yesterday and found out waitlist for 10/10/05 for BWV std 1-bdrm came through on Tuesday. Now have reservation for 10/1 - 10/14/05 - need to decide in the next few days, which days to keep before booking airfare.

DH may not be able to take 2 full weeks off so I may talk my mom into coming down for a few days at the end or I stay down with the kids myself or we all leave a few days earlier.

Spoke to MS late yesterday and I was able to get a 1bdrm at BCV to add to my studio for Sunday night and the 2bdrm ressie for the rest of the week that I already had so I cancelled my waitlist. Might take a little moving but at least we're there for the five nights! Thank you MS!!!
