2 tricks to non-flat cookies:
1- Use 1/2 butter and half (whatever it is you like to use - Margarine, Butter Crisco, etc) The butter will just flatten 'em out like pancakes.
2- If youre insistant on butter, substitute baking POWDER, for soda. They puff up. Theyre super fluffy and puffy if you do step 1, as well.
