Come on kids- we're going to Disney World!!!

My little Davy had his first 2nd birthday party today! It was a small one with his Uncle Jason who won't be able to make it Saturday and still wanted to party with him. How sweet right? :goodvibes His uncle rocks!

First we went to Toysrus and he looked everywhere. He was supposed to get a Chuggington book, but that went out the window with uncle Jason. :rotfl: They looked at everything! Trains, firetrucks, construction stuff, action figures and more. He finally decided on a truck and 3 train, construction worker videos. Which thank God he chose that, because quite frankly, if I had to watch the same train video one more time..... I think I might have had to do something really bad..... I even know the theme song by heart I have seen it so many times. So, now he has lots of videos to watch and not just one to watch over and over and over. :goodvibes

Then we went to Kroger and got a small ice cream cake and then to Little Caesars for a pizza. My little man knows how to party huh? party:

We got home, we all ate pizza and cake. Here is my cheese ball boy smiling for his uncle:

This is his new smile if you ask him to say cheese. He looks at you, yells "Cheeeeeese!" And smiles. lol My little sweety.

His sister also had fun. She stayed home and played with her friends while we got everything and then partied with us. I couldn't get my camera to work, so go figure. But uncle jason sent me that pic so I had to share! :goodvibes

Today, we went to toddler time at the library and n\home for lunch and a nap. Followed by meeting Aleks at the bus and playing outside. Here are some great pics! You can totally see who I spend most of my days with..... hmmm... could that be, Davy? :goodvibes

A cute one from the other day at the park.

Today's weather was fantastic!!! It actually felt kinda like Fall! I love this weather!! Tomorrow is supposed to be the same- we are going to the park for a picnic lunch and walk, followed by the playground! Wahoo!!

And- this Sat, we are doing the pumpkin patch and corn maze! And hay rides, cow trains...don't ask, and petting zoo and more! Can't wait :cool1::cool1:

Aight, had to share my personal nightmare story here...

I just woke up- it's 4:30 am here. Freaking out, thinking someone was breaking into the house. I heard a horrible crashing and thudding! It kept going and going- so I had my phone set to dial 911 and went out of my room and into the living room to find.........

wait for it................... :scared1:

:rolleyes1 A balloon from my son's birthday party stuck in the ceiling fan and thudding against the ceiling every time it bumped around..... :rotfl2: I now officially hate mylar balloons! Talk about having a heart attack! This is why I hate my DH working nights all the time!! Ok.... gonna go try to sleep again. Sigh.

That's too funny about the balloon!
Cute pictures of story time at the library & waiting at the bus stop. It makes me miss when mine were that little!

Oh man has it been a long but great day- more details later after the kids are asleep! They want me off the computer now... and apple strudel in the oven- yum! :goodvibes

It's been a while since I posted, but since it is still a year until our trip.... does it really matter? lol. I have some great new pics of the kids and I still haven't gotten around to telling you my news!

Aleks has decided to get baptised at church! She has accepted God into her life and prayed all about it this weekand has decided, on her own, tomove forward!!! Goooooooo Aleks! So proud of my little goober butt.

Her grandparents (her real mother's parents) were all like, what is she talking about? She was baptised as a baby.... and all poo poo about it, but I told her- this is your choice and yours alone. This is your way to publicly pronounce that Jesus is your savior and that God is in your heart. She understands that, but she doesn't understand her grandparents I don't think.... they are Catholic, so I dunno what they are thinking right now.. but It's kinda funny for me at least.. :lmao: They are asking for the name of the church and website and stuff... lol. Hopefully they don't try to start anything stupid.

Anyway- gotta go for now... will post pics after I put them on photobucket later!

Hmmmm.... now debating about whether or not we can still do disney next year. DH's bonus was canceled until April because he missed one too many days for sickness..... go figure. Now, not only are we late on bills because we were counting our chickens before they hatched so to speak, but we may be canceling our trip and it is still a year away. I dunno..... I prefer to be in a good place financially before we swing a new trip. As in all bills paid, most a month in advance and having our savings in a great place. Hard to do on just one income currently. Sigh.... what to do, what to do?

Haven't been on in a while.... man! Busy busy busy!

Thinking about canceling yet another trip..... but it's for a good reason- yet again... This time, we think Davy finally needs to meet his grandfather. He lives in NJ and he has never met him. Also, lots of DH's family lives there and they haven't met him either. At least if we decide to do this trip, we won't have to pay for hotels and such. And they do have hershey park... and the crayola factory- so it wouldn't all be a loss... lol. Oh, and sesame place is near there too!

So much to think about....

Welp, it's official.............. the trip is canceled.... AGAIN. I am very disappointed and really, really wanted to take my DS to disney once more before he turned 3.... hmmmm.... maybe I can convince DG tolet me plan a new summer trip since we canceled 2 in a row now....

I am ready to cry. But I don't want my DH to know that it really meant this much to me. Silly, I know, but I really wanted Aleks to have a birthday trip and Davy to see disney again- and this time actually maybe remember something of it. :sad1:

Thanks guys! It bites canceling the trip for the second time in a row.... :sad1: I still whine about it... but DS will get to meet his grandpa for the first time this summer instead! :goodvibes And I have found out it's near some really cool train museums and stuff- and he is a train nut! We will hit the Strasburg Railroad and the amish county! Wahoo! Should be fun either way.

Hopefully I will get a trip to Disney the next year... or me and DH may have words... I need my hook up. :rotfl:
