After almost 3 years of planning and 3 years of being postponed/ cancelled for stressful reasons, it is now offical!!! We are going to Disney World!!! 
I called and booked our trip yesterday. It was kind of surreal. Here's why.
First trip was cancelled because my stepdaughter needed braces. Ugh. No warning about money and such just "You have to come up with X amount in 2 weeks."
Those aren't cheap. Next trip was postponed for a year because of more stepkid's Mama drama, money, etc. After each trip, I would slip into a dark place and not want to come out.
This trip was almost cancelled last week. One of my cats, Mister Kitty Boy, got outside and ended up breaking his leg. The two bones, where they meet at the elbow were broke. Ugh. My vet said that either the bones would heal naturally and he will regain use of his leg but have a slight limp OR he would have to have it amputated. Amputated = surgery = Lots of $$$.
I started to slip back into that dark place when Kitty looked at me and flexed his toes on his hurt leg. Ever since then he has regained more and more use of his leg and is on the road to recovery!!!! YAY!!! Don't get me wrong, I would have spent every penny to have made him feel better but this is the years and years of stress that I need a vacation from.
So this is our first ever trip to Disney!!! It will be me, hub, DD and my brother. Technically this will be our first ever family vacation period.
We picked the best time to go! Free Dining, MNSSHP, WWoHP and it is also centrally located between my anniversary with hub, dd's birthday and brother's birthday as well. So we all get to celebrate!!!
The only bad thing was yesterday when I called to book my trip, I didn't get the normal "Have a magical day!" from him.
So come and join me in a happy dance. I've waited years to do this dance with you guys!!! I've got lots to celebrate and finally to be happy about!!
