comcast remote dead

our digital cable remote is dead. It's not the battery. Any suggestions?

What is it doing? My DH works for Comcast, and is sitting here. I would be willing to ask him if you want.

call up their customer service and they should send you out a new one. If you have a Comcast location nearby, you can probably just go there and get a new one. Mine died 2 weeks ago and that's what I did, though I have Adelphia, who is now owned by Comcast.

Call the cable company, and they'll replace it. It's that simple.

I brought mine in and they took ait and gave me a new one, simple

Same thing happened to my Cablevision remote. Had to get a new one. Problem solved!
