Comcast digital voice

With the price of everything going up I decided to take a look at my phone, cable, and internet to see where I could save some money. Comcast is offering cable, digital voice (phone service) and internet for $33 each a month for a year. That would make my total bill for all just over $100. Big savings!!!! However I am a leery of the digital voice phone service.

Does anyone have this and if so what is your opinions on it?

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a search and nothing came up. So thanks in advance.

I have Comcast Bundle in 2 houses...the internet,digital voice and cable.
I love it all, great service and you can't beat the price. The digital voice is better than what I had with verizon for $55/mo.

We already had the Cable and Internet service with Comcast. Two weeks ago, we switched to the Phone Service. They offered free installation - took about 30 minutes. $33 a month for the first year - $39 a month after the first year. Includes free long distance, caller ID, voice mail, 3-way calling, automatic call back, etc. We've had it now for two weeks, and I can tell no difference in this over our previous SBC account - except for the fact that I'm probably saving $60-$75 per month. They made it very easy - cancelled SBC for me. All of my current phones work.

As of today, I'm happy we did it.

in the Denver Metro area there was a HUGE issue with badly routed 911 calls from comcast digital voice about a year ago-that has kept me from using it.

We use Vonage. It is 24.99 a month for the unlimited plan. 14.99 for 500 minutes. Our call quality is a touch less then with our land line, but it is well worth it for the savings.

We have been using it for about a year now, and couldn't be happier. We have caller ID, call waiting, voice mail, 3 way calling, call forwarding, etc...
